Toyomoto Company is a motor parts trading company, which was founded in 2007 by Mr. Loh Kean Ping. Toyomoto Company is a wholesaler company of motor spare parts. He decided to start a business with motor spare parts because he saw opportunities in this industry to provide general different types of raw materials to motor vehicle dealers which they are main customers. As his business flourished, Mr. Loh started searching different suppliers from other countries such as China, Japan and Taiwan. He also mentioned that Toyomoto Company has a functional organization structure that it is easier for him to coordinate each department (APPENDIX XXX). Therefore, employees who have similar knowledge and skills can efficiently put them in one department. According to the operation manager of Toyomoto, Mr. Lim Khai Xin said that the amount of raw materials import from other countries is approximately 300,000 to 500,000 each month (Lim Khai Xin, 2015). Every year, Toyomoto Company will hold a motor fair or be one of many sponsors of racing competitions to improve their reputation to achieve their objectives. The targeted market is in the northern part of Malaysia such as Penang, Ipoh. The company’s major customers are motor vehicle dealers who offer motor services and maintenance. They order different amount of general spare parts depend on their sales performance.
