For this exercise a combined SWOT & PESTEL analysis will be used to establish the strengths, weaknesses (internal factors) and opportunities and threats as well as Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental (external) factors of Casela World of Adventures. The PRIMO-F model helps to develop a more efficient SWOT and structures it and the PESTEL analysis model provides the structure for SWOT, thus this model was developed by RapidBI team. He helps to provide a consistent structure for comparing and benchmarking within the company or benchmark against previous analysis or competitors.

• Exchange of animals with Singapore so that to ensure the reproduction of such species and introduce animals that are not available in Mauritius Threats
Political
• Difficult to obtain permits as regards to animals exportation such as elephants because of all the NGOs working against cruelty of animals.
• Risk of terrorism attacks, then frightening the tourists from visiting Mauritius.

Economic
• Rise in cost of living may affect the purchasing power of guests visiting the park
• For the South African market, even if there is a rise in tourist arrivals, at the park we have noticed that they have only a spend per head of Rs700 representing only the entrance ticket, this is because of the depreciation of Rand v/s Rupee.

Technological
• Need to implement rapidly the online booking since of our competitor is already doing so.
• Develop the APP before the competitors
