Throughout the 20th century, the question “Is college worth it?” has echoed in and out of school halls, over the family kitchen table, and throughout the media for decades. College education has been seen as the norm and is highly encouraged and has also been seen as a path to all socioeconomic classes and beyond. The benefits of having a college degree are enormous and have been viewed as a standard of living and career advancement. Recent statistics and studies have, however highlighted the massive student debt and an increasing wave in college student dropouts. Skipping college because the pace of gains has slowed is equivalent to skipping your heart medication because the pace of medical improvement isn’t what it used to With that being said, that goes to show just how significantly important earning and completing a college degree is in this generation now that we live in because more more jobs require college degrees and the economy we live in today is increasingly demanding. As evaluated, college will be beneficial to many people and they will experience a positive consequence over their years of education. Students will also grow more beneficially inclined if they attend a college that best suits themselves. By attending a college, students have a higher chance of economic success in their future, have a better quality life, and undergo a great opportunity to explore a wide variety of possible paths.
