“According to experts, mothers who murder their children aren’t as rare as we’d want to think. Some estimate that it happens a few times a day in this country and at least 1000 times in a year!” Casey Anthony, mother of two year old Caylee Anthony, attended the courtroom for about two and a half months for being accused of murdering her daughter. Casey was the headline in every news article and the spotlight of the world, she was arrested in 2008 for murdering her daughter. On July 15th, Caylee was reported missing by her grandmother Cindy, and said she had already been missing for a month, and when Cindy questioned Casey where her daughter had been, she had many different stories, what mother is ok with her child being gone for such a long …show more content…
When police investigators searched through her records and computer history, they found something odd, her history consisted of searches like “How to make chloroform” and “Neck breaking” so why would she look this stuff up for no intentions? What’s worse is that, large amounts of chloroform appeared to be found in Casey’s car, the evidence is all there, yet she was found not guilty! This is absurd. When George, (Caylee’s father) received a notice that his car was being towed, he noticed …show more content…
After a 10 and a half hour meeting, they absolved her on the charge of murder and only found Casey Anthony guilty of perjury. The verdict exasperated American society. America felt pity towards Casey and had no sympathy for her mother. Everyone who listened to the case all over the world was shocked by this verdict of the jury, all of the evidence, the surrounding the murder of the child was indicated only one person, the girl's mother, Casey therefore, this evidence was just enough for the jury to plead a guilty verdict. After this case, many americans believed that the justice system in America failed completely and In this case it was almost impossible to bring forward charges under articles regarding the death penalties It wasn’t optional to produce the first degree murder. Other than the fact that almost everyone was against the sentence, which the jury finally said, there were opposers who thought that there definitely was not enough evidence to convict Casey Anthony of murdering her own daughter. As crazy as that sounds, the case itself was compelling enough to pass it on to the jury, thus the jury could make either decision, is she guilty or not, It all depends on which one you believe in a jury trial. It should be known that the jury for the killing is not a detective agency, so, there is an answer, who is the murderer. The goal
Also, Grand Jury indicted Casey for aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter, and four counts of providing false information. Since she was found guilty, she now faces the death penalty. Casey appeared before a judge and was also charged with a capital crime then places in protective custody at the Orange County Jail. When Anthony’s bond was denied, she then hired Defense Attorney, Jose Baez. There were four hundred parts of evidence.
Caylee Anthony was reported missing July 15th, 2008. She had been last seen June 16th, 2008. The mother of Caylee Anthony is Casey Anthony. The day Caylee Anthony went missing, Casey claims to have gotten off of work to go pick 2 year old Caylee Anthony up from her nanny’s house. But when she got there none was home.
In the 2008 controversial court case of Casey Anthony, the innocent verdict incorrectly acquitted her because of false information, location of remains, and hurtful intentions. Casey’s first lie involved her saying she has talked to Caylee. She was already dead. “Casey Anthony told police that she spoke to her daughter Caylee on July 15, 2008, the day Caylee was reported missing. She told
The murderer used chloroform and duct tape to suffocate the 2 year old toddler. And disposed the body in a black trash bag and placed in a forest wooded area. Found within walking distance from the Anthony residence. This can resonate to a conspiracy theory. With all of the facts and research the researchers came up with it is clear that the justice system has failed Caylee Anthony.
The jury took 10 hours and 40 minutes to deliver a not guilty verdict to the charges of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and aggravated child abuse (3). Casey Anthony was found guilty of four counts of providing false information to law enforcement and check forgery (6). I personally don’t agree with the jury’s verdict. There is a lot of evidence pointing to the fact that Casey killed Caylee. First, she didn’t report Caylee missing and lied to her parents on her whereabouts.
Then, on July 17, 2008 officers search her car and a cadaver dog picks up the scent of human decomposition. A month later, on August 27, 2008 the police say that an air sample of Casey’s car did in fact have human remains in the car. Then on September 24, 2008 a woman in Kissimmee, Florida with the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez the same name Casey gave in her statement files a lawsuit against Casey because of the defamation the case has brought to her. Remember during this time Casey is in prison, the state of Florida is putting her in jail before they even have evidence that proves that she is the murderer of her own daughter. Through months of investigation on October 14, 2008 a grand jury indicts Casey on capital murder on top of other charges, Casey Anthony pleads not-guilty.
USA TODAY published an article “Casey Anthony breaks her silence: I sleep pretty good at night.” Anthony did an interview with Associated Press speaking about the case and her daughter’s death for the first time. The Associated Press said that the interview with Anthony was “revealing, bizarre and often contradictory, and ultimately raised more question than answers about the case.” In the interview with Associated Press, Anthony admitted to lying to the police about a number of things such as her employment, leaving her child with a babysitter, and receiving a call from Caylee before she went missing. During the trial, the defense stated that Caylee had drown in the pool and then Casey Anthony’s father tried to cover up the accident.
(2021) The trial lasted 6 weeks from May to July 2011, the prosecution was seeking the death penalty, they alleged Casey wanted to get rid of her parent

Casey Anthony is going to make many Americans think it is ok to murder their own children and get away with it. Casey Anthony should have been sentenced to death. She shouldn't of gotten away like she did. Casey Anthony was found not guilty in murdering her little girl Caylee. The jury declined the covit of charging her for first degree murder and of manslaughter.
In result, she killed her daughter Kailey. In the beginning of the trial, I found it very interesting that the judge was the one to read to the jury. The opening of the
In July 2008, the Criminal Justice System began one the most horrified case in the United States. This case called the attention of many civilians around the nation; making it one of the most controversial cases in this time. However, Casey Anthony was the primary suspect in this case, the police have enough evidence to arrest her. After Anthony Casey arrest the trial begin until the case was resolved and a sentence is concluded. It is a process involved different government agencies.
The verdict in this case generated an epidemic of outrage throughout the world. I agree with the not-guilty verdict on the murder one and two charges; however, the evidence is not as incontrovertible as some have suggested. I also agree that there was some mischaracterization around the 31 days; yet, to trivialize this behavior as simply immature is inaccurate. The way Casey handled the death was inexcusable.
Unfortunately, in this case the prosecution did a poor job on linking all evidence to Casey Anthony that proved she murdered her daughter. The prosecution ignored a single plain legitimate notion “Corpus Delicti” requirement and due to that failure of addressing it the jury was forced to give a “not guilty” verdict from the beginning of the
