CLIMATE CHANGE DUE TO GLOBAL WARMING Climate changes due to global warming has been a global concern. Climate change it has effected our economy, health and communities in a very bad way. What do you think we will be able to do to prevent this?
Climate change is an irreversible consequence of the damage we do to our Earth. If we do not change our ways, the global temperature will swell, causing an unchangeable series of events, consecrating detriments onto all the existence upon Earth. In only about 140 years, the average global temperature has increased 0.8 degrees celsius, and the ramification is the irreparable destruction of the place where we and millions of other species live. The most important consequence of climate change is the global increase in temperature and how that is affecting various animal species all over the Earth, the health of humans, and the rapid rise of sea level.
The Effect of Climate Change on the Golden Toad Introduction Throughout history the Earth’s climate continually cooled and warmed with weather regimes changing. This natural process is being enhanced through human activities that are increasing the warming of the atmosphere at a more rapid rate than previously seen. Among the many threats to biodiversity; the destruction of habitats, population growth, pollution, invasive species and overexploitation, climate change is having an adverse effect on biodiversity. The connection between biodiversity and climate change has been established for quite some time now. Ecosystems are already showing negative impacts under current levels of climate change.
Because of its large population, the consequences of climate change could be catastrophic for the region, which already has a extremely high burden of communicable diseases that is expected to increase in a very near future as a result of climate change. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, parts of Asia are expected to experience serious conflicting effects on climate change because most countries’ economies depending on agriculture and natural resources, and the Asian Development Bank predicts that sea levels could rise as much as 40 centimeters by the end of this century and expose populations living on the coastlines in the
There are many climate changes that will affect the economy and the amount of debt that we are in as a country. As global warming changes and the weather changes that causes different natural disasters to occur. When different storms strike different areas that causes us to make the move and help those lives who have been affected by the tragic disaster. Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, cloud forests are dying, and wildlife is scrambling to keep pace. It's becoming clear that humans have caused most of the past century's warming by releasing heat-trapping gases as we power our modern lives.
Furthermore, climate change results in increasingly extreme hurricanes, which causes detrimental flooding, and is also damaging to the economy in the United States. Temperatures are the highest they have been in over three million years; these temperatures are projected to continue to climb over the next several years (Weeks). What does this have to do with hurricanes? There are many ways that climate change effects the intensity of hurricanes. The first key factor is the higher temperatures that cause the ocean to get warmer.
Nathan A. Templon Professor V. Chapman English 1301 24 October 2017 Melting Of The Polar Ice Caps The polar ice caps are melting faster over the last half century moreover than the last five centuries. This is a big concern for the population of the planet. The people that live near the coastal areas are in the most danger.
It occurs due to rise in global warming which occurs due to increase in temperature of atmosphere by burning of fossils fuels and release of harmful gases by industries. Climate change has various harmful effects but not limited to melting of polar ice, changes in seasons, occurrence of new diseases, frequent occurrence of floods and change in overall weather scenario. • Loss of Biodiversity: Human activity is leading to the extinction of species and habitants and loss of bio-diversity. Eco systems, which took millions of years to perfect, are in danger when any species population is decimating. Balance of natural processes like pollution is crucial to the survival population is decimating.
Argumentative Essay Zeena Morar 12J Climate change is currently being felt around the world and unless the developed world makes substantial changes to its selfish ways, we are all doomed to face the fires of hell on earth. One third of the earth’s land is currently threatened as what we do to the air, land and water affects the balance of ecosystems and ultimately the world. The developed world uses wood for mining, building, furniture and paper. Saw and paper mills that are used to create these products, pollute the air and water.
Climate change is more serious than we take it. If it continues, everyone will parish. Climate change affects us in many different ways. It causes animal population numbers to decrease, slows down transportation to the north, and causes flooding and the rise of the sea level. Global warming exists, and it is not only affecting the environment.
Global Warming is the most controversial issue that we face today, because throughout the years we have been releasing greenhouse gases that are harmful in the long run and will affect the future generations. The temperature throughout the twentieth century has been increasing steadily by 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit a year. The cause of global warming is from the release of gases called GreenHouse gasses such as carbon dioxide, methane and several more. Factories ,cars, and other working companies release these gases while extracting fossil fuel from the earth 's crust. Alternatives sources of energy can be implemented because if we keep on using energy that releases these GHG then we might tear up the ozone layer.
Therefore these effects could be substantial. Scientists believe that the destruction of trees is a adding reason to the cause of global warming. Also the IPCC has estimated that if the climate rises 1.5 degrees celsius to 2.5 degrees celsius that 20% to 30% of plants would have high risks of extinction. The same would go for animals if the temperature continue to increase the same percentages of animals could face extinction as well. Now in the last 50 years heat waves, droughts, and flood have all increased.
The home to mankind and millions other species is facing the biggest threat ever: global warming, which is one of the most concerning issues in today’s world. Before going any further, it is very important to understand what the term actually means. Global warming is defined as “the gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth 's atmosphere and its oceans” by Wikipedia. It is altering the earth’s climate permanently. Global warming has had drastic effects on the ecosystem and mostly not in a positive way because now it has reached a harmful level.
