A change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels. DEFINITION The main cause which is effecting our climate to change is the burning gas in air. GHGs are released into the atmosphere when fossil fuels are burned. The carbon dioxide gas and GHGs (GREEN HOUSE GAS) gets abundant in the atmosphere which effects our climate change CAUSE OF CLIMATE CHANGE Poisonous gases are stored and when they are released in the atmosphere they go and mix with the semi-permanent gas and it then forces our environment to get change. SOME EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CLIMATE: The mighty Himalayas protect the sub-continent from the cold winds of Central Asia. The Himalayas form a complete barrier in the north of South Asia. They protect the region from chilly cold winds (Arctic winds) from the north. This keeps the winters in South Asia bearable unlike in the Artic. The inland region of South Asia is very hot in the summer due to this barrier. These mountains also form a barrier to the hot and moist winds from the south. This results in heavy rainfall in South Asia. The barrier stops the moist winds from the Indian Ocean to escape to the north. SUMMER MONSOON: Monsoon is a wind pattern that reverses direction with the seasons. The term was originally used for the seasonal winds in the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. During
