The typical business person would want their business to be well-known in order to increase the amount in selling their goods. These small or big businesses can make use of social media by advertising and promoting their goods and services online. According to Briggs et al (2011 pp34-36), social media is essentially another marketing tool that, if embraced properly, allows a dynamic connection that have an interest in the user. This means that sellers could find people who are looking for their product but unable to do so in the regular retail shops. Besides finding buyers from the same city, sellers can have customers from other cities in the country and possibly from other countries. Social media has enabled the sellers to expand their market.
