Causes Of Bangsamoro In The Philippines

Filipinos are intertwined with an important value which is nationalism. It is more likely inevitable to have some groups that would love to be separated with a certain state especially in the Philippines provided that it is an archipelago and a melting pot of diverse cultures and tribes. Basically, Bangsamoro are those people who are living in Mindanao having diverse cultures, dialects but they have one common factor that they all share which is their religion, Islam.

Struggle for secession of the Bangsamoro people has been a prominent and existent issue since time immemorial. It seems that this issue becomes alarming especially when actions taken by some of the people affected to this are resulting to deaths and costly destruction towards properties. This perennial issue will not be resolved if Bangsamoro people will secede, no matter what their assertions are.

In the Philippine history, it was found that they already had established a political institution and religion prior to the colonialization of some states towards the subsoil of the Philippines which means that the assertion that they are and shall be seceded from the sovereign state is because they have already established being a political entity before any colonial aggressions came in. Becoming a political entity right before any cessions were made was one of the few reasons why they really want to get out.

They also asserted that government services are insufficient and did not reach in Mindanao. There
