Despite flights areever so often grounded when weather situations are supposed hazardous, squalls, serious breeze and even mist can sneak up pilots and traffic inspectors. Heat lightning hits can be specially hazardous. When heat lightning hits a airplane, it can neutralise it in many aspect. Air accidents have happened because heat lightning occasioned electrical defect, because it fired fuel oil tank and tubes, and even because the flash itself effected transient dullness. But even tepid weather situation can cause airplane crashes. While a flight to Lebanon in 1977, the pilot correspond a thick mist as he ready to land.
