Teenage pregnancy is on the rise and it affects everyone. The children of teenage mothers are more likely to have lower school achievement. Teens have a higher risk of preterm birth. Teenage pregnancy can cause a lot of changes such as social problems, personal problems, and choice making. Most teenage girls do not plan to get pregnant, but many do. Often teens do not prenatal care soon enough, which lead to problems later. Parenthood is the leading reason that teenage girls drop out of school. Teenage pregnancy is a major problem changing our world. Teenage girls within the age 13-19 are becoming pregnant. Teens drop out of school because they are pregnant. They are scared their peers will judge them. Some teenage parents should get a job to provide for they family and work a lot of hours and don’t have time for school. Pregnancy can involve a lot of health problems for the mother and the baby. Teens may not have family members to watch the child and are not supportive enough to take care of the child or have free time. Teens getting support by the parents can be hard at first because they lost all the trust they had for you. Teens must do whatever it takes to earn back their parents trust during their pregnancy. In fact, some teens may feel like they failed they parents or their parents gave up on them because they are having a child. Meanwhile teens need every support they can get from friends and family. Pregnant teenager’s friends will change on them because their parents do not want their child to be friends with someone who is pregnant and get that thought into their head.
