I do NOT agree with Morgan’s central idea because I believe western expansion was a huge part and great peice of history. Addition to Teachers teach kids this in history class and everyone is taught it because to try and teach people not to make the same mistake again. It's the same as a major war like World War II we want people to know all about it so they don't make the same mistake. In chief Joseph’s speech, he states that nothing is going to stop america from expanding this shows Chief Joseph supported western expansion greatly just like many others. There was people for western expansion and against it, but there will always be people opposing a subject. No matter what all the people will not agree with something like western expansion.
