Seawater around the area has also been leaked with radiation, causing the seafood to be at the risk of absorbing radioactive elements. Back in the Singapore, there have been cases of pregnant woman coming back to Singapore after visiting Japan, losing their children, high chance due to radiation as stated with doctor. This is why there are clinics now, which are offering check up for travellers who are travelling to Japan, to determine their chances of getting radiation. This in turn did deter some Singaporeans to travel to Japan due to the fear of exposing themselves to radiation. Over at other countries, there are protests at some countries to close all nuclear plants and to stop using nuclear plant to generate power. To sum up, after the Japan 2011 crisis, it did hurt the tourism sector in Japan. People now prefer to travel to developing countries like Vietnam, Cambodia or Thailand. In addition to the bomb affecting their homes and cities, it affected their physical self as well. Document 9 states, “The three main types of physical effects associated with a nuclear explosion are : blast and shock, thermal radiation, and nuclear radiation; each have the potentiality for causing death and injury to exposed persons … among them, apart from genetic effects, are the formation of cataracts, life shortening, and leukemia.” Many life threatening situations can happen to a person if in contact with a nuclear bomb. Which shows how deadly a nuclear bomb is and how it should not be
The economy overall grew by 37%. At the end of the decade, the
About 90% of the nuclear material (radiation) was taken into the mushroom clouds that appeared above the targets, rather than contaminating the surface. As a result Hiroshima and Nagasaki recovered and became liveable faster than it would have if the radiation fallout had been higher. Today, Hiroshima and Nagasaki match the world’s average radiation of 0.87 mSv/a, and are habitable with over a million people residing in both
On August 6, 1945 the United States ordered to drop a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, a city in Japan. The bomb instantly killed between 70,000 and 80,000 people but due to the radiation more people suffered death after the attack. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima was known as “Little Boy” which was the first atomic bomb created. The plane that had dropped the bomb was known as the Enola Gay a B-29 bomber flown by Colonel Paul W. Tibbets. On August 9, 1945 the second nuclear bomb was dropped by the US on Nagasaki.
Too much exposure to ionizing radiation can damage the tissues. Children, young women and fetus are more sensitive to this type of radiation than others (Fahey, 2012). • Maintaining the Highest Level of Safety with NM Workers in nuclear medicine should follow safety rules. While working with radioactive materials, personal protective equipment like gloves, protective eye wear and cloths and in some cases fume hoods must be used. NM procedures must be practiced in special closed places.
Mortality rates remained high. Most commonly, survivors experienced violent dizzy spells and a profound depletion of energy. Fears about genetic effects of radiation exposure on their children haunted them for decades. Thirty years after the war, high rates of leukemia as well as stomach and colon cancer persisted. From the survivors' perspective, the atomic bomb had burned their bodies from the inside out.people where very hurt because of the bomb.
Nuclear weaponry is subtly executed in the plot of Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. Such as in the parts where it is stated that a war has begun, and where the plot concludes as the entire city is bombed from a distant view that is perceived from Guy Montag. Nuclear weaponry is becoming a more apparent subject in modern day society. The creation of nuclear weapons dates back all the way to 1941. Nuclear weapons have been executed on certain countries in historical times, however, contemporary nuclear weapons render an unimaginable amount of power that have catastrophic abilities if they are ever implemented onto the surface of our planet.

This resulted in a loss of revenue from those operations. These events and others, such as fluctuations in travel and energy costs and computer virus attacks, intrusions, or other widespread computing or telecommunications failures, may also damage its ability to provide
From the above chart, it can be assumed that hosting an international event such as Olympic Games leads a country’s medium to long term commitment to greater international openness and, hence, there is the expectations for the economy growth. As being said, it is highly likely that hosting the Tokyo Olympics, together with a new policy support will have positive effects on the Japanese economy. These terms help to remove any distorted views on the perceived outcome of inflation on the cost of merchandises produced. Likewise, Economic growth is related to the high expectations in a person’s standard of living. If the standards are high, it wouldn’t be beneficial for the economy as the working class individuals will face a lot of trouble.
