Studies have shown that censorship is justified as it also prevents the toxic influence of perception that may morally corrupt adolescents. What usually comes to mind when people visualise the harm that may come to minors are usually television programs, song lyrics and video games that elevate violence, drug use, sexual promiscuity or disrespect for authority. Fieser (2017) stated that if children are expose to morally uplifting songs, stories and images, their moral characters will be positively formed. Similarly, if children are exposed to explicit songs, violent stories or graphic images, they will develop a damaged character.
