“And, one thing led to another, led to another.” On the recording, he said he wanted to leave, but before he could, they were driving over the Samoa Bridge and before long Godoy-Standley and Mitchell descended on Claros car that had stopped on the road. He spotted Thompson in the car too. “I was pissed,” he said on the recording. “I was like ‘your with another dude?’” Pressed by Fulton, Valenzuela-Campos could be heard conceding to at least temporarily coming in contact with a firearm during the incident and driving off with his girlfriend in Claros’ car. : Nick Carraway is a man who is seeking to learn about the bond business so he heads to New York to learn more. There he meets a man known as Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire who likes to throw spectacular parties. There, Gatsby tells Nick that he is deeply mad in love with Daisy, Nick’s sister. Unfortunately Daisy is already married to Tom Buchanan, so Nick helps Gatsby begin an affair with Daisy. During that time, Tom is cheating on Daisy with a woman named Myrtle.
Daisy saw Myrtle walking into the road and struck her with the car. Gatsby becomes aware of what just happened and decides to take the blame for Daisy. He is willing to say he was the one driving. This relates back to what Nick said earlier “and let other people clean up the mess they had made.” Nick, Tom, and Jordan arrive at the scene shortly. Tom pulls over to investigate.

The death of Lennie sets a clear example to all that American Dream is achievable. For Gatsby's death comes from an unexpected place. The day before Gatsby’s death he was in a car with Daisy, letting her drive his car when a woman named Myrtle ran out on the road and Daisy accidently ran her over and killed her. Myrtle ran into the road because she thought the one driving the car was Tom, her lover, and not Daisy. She believed this because Gatsby let Tom drive his car beforehand when he stopped at Myrtle’s husband, Wilson’s, garage for gas.
Near the end, when Daisy hit Myrtle with Gatsby’s car, Gatsby wants to take the blame for it. Tom intentionally tells George that the car that had hit Myrtle and killed her belonged to Gatsby. George was filled with anger and went looking for Gatsby. While Gatsby was at his pool laying and some water bed looking at the sky, George came out of nowhere and shot Gatsby killing him instantly. Right after, George shoots himself.
She didn 't want to live with the guilt of forgetting her mother 's death. The fact she had flowers in the back of her car and drove straight and fast are perfect examples of why Alaska’s death was a suicide. Alaska’s death was indeed a suicide. Her depression was very prevalent throughout the whole book. The scene of the accident is another reason why Alaska’s death was a suicide.
Jean Cabot is the wife of Rick Cabot, the district attorney of LA. Throughout CRASH, Jean Cabot demonstrates a fear of minorities. At the beginning of the movie, specifically, at 8:55, we see her pull into her husband as Anthony and Peter, two black men, walk past her. Unexpectedly, the two men decide to car-jack Jean and Rick, leaving them both emotionally dumbfounded. This leaves Jean even more fearful, and at a later scene, we can see her angrily talking about Daniel Ruiz, the Latino Locksmith that was hired to check their doors.
A second car on the road squealed to a stop and “its driver hurried back to Myrtle Wilson, her life violently extinguished, knelt in the road and mingled her thick dark blood with the dust” (137). Myrtle instantly died, and the entire situation was based upon a violent act. This form of violence – a vehicular hit and run – had an impact on Mr. Wilson, Tom, and, most obviously, Myrtle. Not only did the death scene affect the Wilsons and Tom, but Gatsby played a huge connection as well. After Nick arrived back in East Egg at the Buchanans’, he encountered Gatsby waiting outside the house.
Fate has the most toil on Romeo and Juliet because it causes the families to bicker, it brings Romeo and Juliet together at the party, it sends Friar Lawrence to marry them , it unables Romeo to receive the message about Juliet , it awakens Juliet about two minutes too late, and tragically kills the two star-crossed lovers. The long family 's feuds, Friar Lawrence, and fate all contribute to the death of Romeo and Juliet, but fate is put most to
Unfortunately for Avery, that wasn’t going to be his only bad encounter with justice. On October 31, 2005, photographer Teresa Halbach was scheduled to meet with Steven Avery at his home on the grounds of Avery 's Auto Salvage to photograph a minivan for Auto Trader Magazine. She went missing the same day.On November 11, Avery was charged with the murder of Halbach after her car and overdone bone fragments were found at the salvage yard. He upheld that authorities were attempting to frame him for Halbach 's vanishing to make it harder for him to win his pending civil case regarding the false sexual assault conviction. To avoid a conflict of interest, Mark R. Rohrer, the Manitowoc County district attorney, requested that authorities from bordering Calumet County lead the investigation.
