Character Analysis: Everything Will Be Okay

In this quote, he his talking to Barbara, who gets picked on the most. In the novel, Michelle stumbles across a young boy trapped in a hole revealing the sinister plot set by the adults of the small town. Bullying and rumor spreading are a big part of the story, mainly from Skull, who dominates the younger kids because he can.

Unbroken is the best word that can be used to describe Louie Zamperini. In the book Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand, there are three other adjectives that can be used to describe Louie Zamperini, the main character. These adjectives are determined, compassionate, and defiant. These attributes can be proven through not only Louie’s actions, but his thoughts as well. These are the three different characteristics of Louie.

Life is very difficult, and certain people respond to trouble differently. An example of this takes place in the book Trouble by Gary D. Schmidt. In Trouble both Henry and Chay are in difficult situations. Henry’s brother has died and Henry and his family are in a difficult time. Chay is Cambodian and he starts to date an American girl.

This story tells me that this family trust and loved each other through no matter what challenges they kept on pushing. A Pox Upon Us All teaches you that family can overcome anything. The story shows this when they are first sick,then recovers,then gets sick again One reason that I know this is in the story of A Pox Upon Us All ,the author states‘’We kids did everything together we sat at the same table,same food,breath the same air.

Forgiving someone is one of the best things you could do. However, for you to forgive someone, you must accept what has happened and be ready to move on. Forgiving someone gives them an opportunity to redeem themselves, and allows them to move on as well. By accepting the past, you might find reasoning within the mistakes of the others, and give you as better understanding of how you should act. Forgiveness is a large part of The First Stone, and within the story is a valuable lesson:

As a young child he was a troublemaker who was later well known for a track star in High School. He was severely beaten many times in camps as he was in war. He was also an olympic star who met Adolf Hitler.

The roles of men and women have been challenged throughout the existence of the human race. Vince Fylnn has adapted this argument to his novel The Third Option in a way of professionalism and everyday formality. Flynn portrays this theme as the base of the story; tying in the reputation of the CIA’s head coordinator, Irene Kennedy, against the two main antagonists Hank Clark and Albert Rudin. Hank and Albert don’t believe Kennedy is fit for her high-ranking position on the board of the CIA. That is where my opinion differs.

Desire is the need for an object, a feeling or a person. One can have a desire for something that is essential for survival, such as water or food, but desire could be used to harm others or oneself. Through A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, Ishmael’s perspective of desire was altered dramatically. These desires were changed from his surroundings or events that were taking place. In the book, Ishmael was easily manipulated by his desires.

Where the Wild Things are by Maurice Sendak is an interesting children’s picture book. The main character is a little boy named Max, who has a wild imagination. He uses all five senses as well as thought and his actions to express his personality as well as how he reacts and interacts with his surroundings. Max’s id, ego and super-ego are greatly shown in this book through the way that the author has portrayed him. Not only is this book a children’s story, but it can also be perceived as a life lesson.

“Two Kinds,” by Amy Tan, essentially revolves around the struggle of Jing Mei and her constant conflict with her mother. Throughout her life, she is forced into living a life that is not hers, but rather her mom’s vision of a perfect child; because her mother lost everything, which included her parents and kids, so her only hope was through Jing Mei.
