A healthy relationship is when both sides respect each other, accept each other, trust each other, love each other, being gentle with each other and being committed in doing anything together. There may be stresses sometimes in a healthy relationship, but it is normal as there should be more happy things to think about besides stress when in a healthy relationship.

Characteristics of a HEALTHY relationship:

Both sides of the relationship trust each other and give each other the benefit of doubt.

There is lack of equality and fairness in the relationship.
Feeling uneasy or disturbed when disagreeing with the partner.

They want comfort and companionship - People start feeling lonely if they constantly hang around their friends or by themselves. Whenever possible, they just want to spend their time with someone so they wouldn’t be lonely anymore. They also suddenly feel that companionship and is something significant and important. Guys and girls aren’t much different. Everyone doesn’t want to be lonely and would prefer to be with someone all the time than being alone, therefore making a person want to be in a relationship.

To share companionship and fun - All of us aren’t meant to live alone. Not everybody lives near a family or a community that is caring. This connection and companionship can be achieved when being in a relationship.

To have children and start a family - They may just want to have children, and just want to raise someone up. After all, in order to become a proud parent, one must start a family and getting a partner is the first step …show more content…

By having a partner, that will allow you to go through anything and becoming a more positive person overall in the end.

People may just want to fit in with the people around them - People may think that getting the latest shoes and clothes may no longer be the trend, but getting into a relationship is. Not only that, people don’t want to be left out and fear getting teased for not being in a relationship. Therefore, people may suddenly just want to get into a relationship to be “trendy” which is rare and unlikely but still occurs from time to time.

It’s natural - The urge comes with age. The empty place within them just want to be filled by getting into a relationship. But, getting sexually active with someone you do not know at all isn’t the best and healthiest relationship. So, they should know that it isn’t worth it and it’s going to be a waste of time if they get into a relationship not giving any attention/putting any effort into the relationship, but only getting sexually
