Bravery is a quality most American have. Girl in Translation is a great novel written by Jean Kwok. The novel is about a girl named Kimberly and how she moved to the United States. She moved with her mother to America because Kimberly Aunt Paula said she was going the take care of them. When Kimberly arrived at Aunt Paula house, Kimberly realize that Aunt Paula is lying about taking care of them. She makes Kimberly and her mother stay in a condemned home with rats and cockroaches. During the duration of the novel Kimberly express the characteristics of bravery
