When they arrived all of them were practically transparent. I have never seen such thin material in my life! Since I require them for professional wear (and it is not the world's oldest profession) I obviously returned them. But transparency is apparently not a defect, so TM Lewin refused to cover return charges from Continental Europe. Add to that the EUR 12 shipping charges for getting the hooker clothing in the first place, this is EUR 24 for NOTHING. Oh, by the way it is impossible to judge from the website what you get. The shirts looked to be just as intransparent as one I asked TM Lewin about, but they certainly were not. So beware! I shall return to using other e-tailers, all of which to my knowledge offer free returns, no questions

“allmylifeforsale.com” is a website created by John D. Freyer, who decided to sell everything in his apartment on ebay. As part of his project, to appeal to as many viewers as possible and increase the chances for his item to sell, Freyer decided to attach personal stories and anecdotes to each item he listed, relying on only subjective descriptions. One of the many items listed on “allmylifeforsale.com” was a purple Benetton mens sweater titled as: “My Girlfriends` Favorite Sweater”. In the description of the sweater, John tells the story of how he came to work at a Bennetton store as a teenager and was required to wear the brand’s clothes while working. However, because he could not afford the expensive clothes, he was allowed to wear an item off the rack during his work hours and then place it back onto the rack at the end of his shift.

Fashion is my method of self-expression. The clothes we choose to wear gives us control over how others perceive us and affects how we feel about ourselves. From wearing black at the Golden Globes in support of the Time’s Up movement to the traditional Chinese Qi Pao, clothes can show solidarity without words or act as a way for us to connect to our cultural heritage. This is why fashion is important to me, because it allows me to tell a story about who I am and who I aspire to be. I have chosen to further my Management studies at the London College of Fashion because the MA Fashion Design Management covers themes essential for managing a successful fashion brand, which has always been a dream of mine.
