Most of the people who read success stories, believe in the concept of overnight success. We feel that the life of successful people has been very rosy and good and destiny had given them a fair chance. Also it is common to believe that they reached their position very easily. These success stories do motivate us to explore this world and do something great and achieve fame and money. However, the fact is that while most of us focus on the output i.e. their success, none of us wants to look at the road they have travelled down to reach this success.

To get better success you must work towards it passionately. If you are preparing to do graduation and then you are expecting to get a PhD degree then it is of no use. You might imagine that people near you are quite successful and they got this without much efforts and struggle and that you are struggling so much with your life. If you think this way then you are making a big mistake. You might have noticed only the success of the person but not the sufferings that the person have gone through. Luck, overnight success, destiny etc must be properly blended with passion and hard work to achieve
The first concept is lucky opportunities. In the book Outliers Gladwell explains how many successful people receive luckey opportunities to make people successful in the future. He elaborates on how people who are successful normally did not get there on their own and explains how being at the right place at the right time can be the difference between success and failure. Sergey Brin had many opportunities that led him to becoming a billionaire. When Brin attended college at Stanford university where he met Larry Page and they became close friends.
People have been successful repeatedly, but is there a pattern between wildly successful people? Do they have a secret to success that we can’t identify? What these authors believe is the secret to success is through research and observation. Malcolm Gladwell and Marge Piercy believe they have an answer to unlock success through that. In both texts, Malcolm Gladwell and Marge Piercy can agree on dedication, hard work, and purposeful practice are attributes you need to become successful.
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." By Winston S. Churchill. Those who took the path instead of believing they will inherit success, including people like Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, and Oprah Winfrey. Two particular people who have followed the path to success are Althea Gibson and Barbara Jordan. Defying many obstacles as gender discrimination and racism, they are key figures in history today.
Think of success like watching a tree grow the branches split into different paths one can take each split is another opportunity to prosper and grow beautiful leaves like trophies. An uncommon belief is that the process of becoming successful is like a tree branch, if one starts off strong, more paths appear growing from the sturdy branch, and achieving goals lead to leaves growing to show wealth. “It is those who are successful, in other words, who are most likely to be given the kinds of special opportunities that lead to further success,” (Gladwell 30). Author of nonfiction book Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcolm Gladwell, agrees with this uncommon belief, in his book he argues that success does not come from intelligence or passion
People always try everything that is within them to achieve their dreams. This happens because since little people think big without looking at the circumstances that are around. People think that they could become anything if they work for it. They are excited thinking about what they can do to be better every day so they could be able to reach their goals, nevertheless, then there comes a time in life when all dreams start to become impossible and more distant every day. In Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcolm Gladwell reveal several stories that talk about different people that have become successful in different ways.
In contrast to the above statement, Margaret Mead also reveals the truth about what people really feel about success. Yes, we are raised to admire those who succeed in Hollywood and other places, but do we really rejoice in everyone 's success? Margaret Mead thinks we don 't, and she is absolutely right. She says that "we tend to regard the success of people close at hand, within our own small group, as a threat." From experience, this statement proves very true.
Undoubtedly, the novel Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell altered my perspective on the successful as well as how they ascended to the top. In his novel, Gladwell argues against the grossly oversimplified view that has become popular belief: the success of an individual hinges solely upon the individual. When discussing the lives of the successful, we have a tendency to concentrate on the internal factors influencing the success of the individual in question. Such factors include intelligence, drive, and other meritorious attributes. However, Malcolm Gladwell paints a different picture than the one we have already made up in our minds.
So why isn’t everyone successful? Some believe that success is only a matter of will and only a person can decide if they want to become successful or not. This is not true; a person’s background ultimately
In the general perspective, a majority of people have come to believe that success derives within the personality and motives of the individual. In contrast, Malcolm Gladwell alleges in his bestselling non-fiction book Outliers that success is spawned by god-given advantages and opportunities that may not be welcomed to others by fate. Gladwell presents us with crucial evidence, such as the individual’s date of birth, the 10,000 hour rule, and their IQ, which has been proved to significantly increase their chances of success. Gladwell’s theory of success is credible and alluring because it belittles anyone who has not fallen into a blessed lifestyle. He admires those who have been born with opportunities clouding their life.
Gladwell’s Argument in Outliers Success is a concept that is constantly altered and has a different meaning from person to person. The stereotypical definition of success would be someone who has a high-paying job or is in the upper-class. Malcolm Gladwell, the author of Outliers: The Story of Success, approaches the concept of success in a different and unique way. Gladwell discusses how opportunities, cultural legacy, and hard work all coincide with each other to produce real success. He uses mostly logic and multiple unrelated anecdotes to support and provide evidence for his statements.

In our world, people usually associate success with either money, money, or money. Success shouldn’t be about how much money we earn, how good our job is, or how famous we are. It should be about our own personal goals and aims in life. I think everyone’s definition of success is different. For each individual, success is something that makes them feel proud.
Success is by not having good grades because of your education. If you don’t have good grades you won’t get a high school diploma and without a high school diploma you can’t provide very well for yourself. Examples like you can’t get a good place to live, but you would have to live in a small space like an apartment or a hotel. If you can a get a good job that pays then you will be maybe ok in your living situation, but if you don’t get a good job you need to go back to high school and get that diploma.
