Whdat is a warrior? They are people who struggle. Charles Darwin, a scientist from the 19th century spent his whole life researching and explaining the process of human evolution with his theory on natural selection which defied the logic in his time that pointed to divinity or holiness to try to explain logic. In this essay I will introduce Charles Darwin , explain Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection, and the significance of Darwin and his research in modern times.Naturalist Charles Darwin was born in February 12, 1809 in the town of Shrewsbury England where he lived and studied through university. His grades were not the best and even after transferring majors, he still showed little interest. However, he did continue his …show more content…

Darwin would end his trip in 1836. After Darwin had returned, he would continue his research over the years on the question "But how had this evolution occurred?” (B. 2015) He eventually got married and had a child, in which he would observe its growth and evolution and any other variances that it would in contrast to its parents. In 1858, another biologist Alfred Russel Wallace; with a similar theory, would contact him asking for his opinion and publish a small join paper. A year later Darwin would publish his book On the Origin of Species. After his lifelong research of evolution, Darwin would eventually die on April 18, 1882 at his home in London. Even after his death, many scientists would continue to research base off his theory and make further advances in human evolution.Darwin was the first person to officially publicize the theory of evolution which he called natural selection. Darwin's theory of evolution states that “by natural selection is that all life, from mammals to single celled organisms, is related through descent with modification from common ancestral stock."(The Premise of Darwin’s theory. …show more content…

Before Darwin published his book "On the Origin of Species", no one understood the process of how a species developed. Darwin's theory was published at a time when the world only had a small amount of scientific knowledge on humans, making it harder for people to believe. However, with current technological and biological advances over the past century and a half that Darwin proposed his theory, we now know that there are many complex systems on a cellular level. Darwin's theory thus changed societies view on the earths strongest apex predator, the Human. Before Darwin's theory came to light people had originally thought that humans were beings that were made by god and just happen to exist, although there were some scientific theories that could prove otherwise, Darwin's theory at the time was the best theory that explained the process, which Darwin would be named the Father of Evolution. The benefits to studying Charles Darwin is because he is the central figure in the study of humanistic and scientific ideas with his Theory of Evolution. His theory is currently the best theory of how life on Earth has continued to evolve and survive through the centuries.
