A devious, unstable, manipulator known as Charles Manson is a notorious killer. He was the leader of the famous, Manson family cult. Also famous for his wicked crimes committed in the late 1960s. Multiple years later and the actions of his family and him are still intensely discussed. Many will consider him as one of the most manipulating people ever, and don’t forget that for many have paid the price. He manipulating anyone that spoke to him, with his empowering voice and attention demanding personality. I chose to write a paper on Charles Manson, because of his manipulation skills. Charles Millies changed to Charles Manson after his mothers’ engagement, was born in Cincinnati Ohio, to Kathleen Maddox and Walker Scott. He was born to a sixteen-year-old prostitute and alcoholic who had no possible way or experience of raising a child. In order to give her child a name, she married William Manson but he soon abandoned both of them. After his mother not stepping up and raising him and his father walking out, Charles headed to the streets and getting arrested multiple times for petty crimes. At age 17, Manson was spending his time in prison. In prison, they considered him to be very dangerous. He spent half of his thirty-two years behind bars. A new chapter began in his life, at 21 he married a 17-year-old- and they both moved to California. After his 17-year-old girl got pregnant, Manson began his criminal activities again. Charles himself did not commit most of the murders, but he convinced his comrades to kill several people under his order. One crime that was talked about was the murder of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and the four others that were at her home. The circumstances were lurid. His mother entered prison when he was only five years old for armed robbery, he then went on to spend most of his life in institutions. His criminal history began at thirteen for armed robbery. Manson’s early life was viewed as troubled due to these events. On trial, he stated that he’s never gone to school and has stayed in jail for most of his life.

A bonechilling, mystery, murder took place in a peaceful/small town in Boulder, Colorado, taken place on Christmas night shook the nation. Beauty queen, pageant winner, adorable, innocent JonBenet Ramsey was killed in the family home on the night of December 25th, 1996. Jonbenet was found with a device around her neck that straggled her, stun gun marks on her left side of her body, hands tied above her head, and tape over her mouth. Later autopsies found that the girl was bashed over her head leaving an 8 ½ inch fracture. Then found later on that Jonbenet was sexually assaulted.
