word "Cheat" means by dictionary, the act of doing something dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. Cheating has become an epidemic among teenagers. It 's so common that many teens think it 's normal and many of them don 't understand what constitutes cheating and why it is wrong. It is wrong, for several reasons. First off, its considered lying. Once you get caught lying authoritative figures and even your own peers will find it hard to believe you from now on, even if you never do it again. The bible says in "Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour." Cheating is a form of stealing. Taking someone else 's work and trying to pass it off as your own is plagiarism. Plagiarism is illegal and can have some serious consequences. Stealing is a sin and can become very addictive, it 'll start off small like taking a candy bar or soda from the store. Then the craving for stealing will eventually grow bigger and bigger. From stealing small things to robbing stores all just because of cheating at school and hanging around the wrong crowd at a young age. The bible says in "Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal." Cheating is also unfair to others. If you don’t study and depend on cheating off of other people it is not fair for the other person because they actually studied to get a good grade, but you took the easy way out of a test and cheated.
