Fidget spinners should not be allowed in school because they are a distraction. When your in class playing with your fidget, you do not pay attention to your work. Instead of paying attention to your work you pay attention to the fidget spinner. Spinners are cool to look at. Spinners are cool to play with but we do not need them.
Many people enjoy their favorite drinks. Some people like lemonade, some people like milk, and some people like water. People might want to bring their drinks to school, but the school doesn’t allow pop. Pop should be allowed in school, because it can be a reward, it’ll give people energy, and tastes good.
Have you ever felt that you are chewing your gum in front of people? In my opinion, I think chewing gum should not be allowed in schools. One reason, I think chewing gum should not be allowed in schools is that in their experiment, gum chewers in the eighth grade had a 3 percent increase in their standardized math scores. First evidence about chewing gum should not be allowed in schools is that chewing gum, of course sugarless, for at least thirty minutes can do the trick and could offer relief for as long as three hours. Another reason, I think chewing gum should not be allowed in schools is that the disposal of the gum when finished is also a problem, such as when it ends up underneath tables
The ban on gum in classrooms should be uplifted because gum also has good perks for your body. It can make you less hungry. According to CNN Louisiana State university did a study on student’s intake of food when chewing gum. They gave 115 students gum and watched their calorie intake. The students didn’t take in as much calories as they did when they did not chew gum. So chewing gum can help students not to complain about being hungry after lunch. It will also help students not too eat too much food. It will help kids to lose weight.
Some could argue that it's ridiculous to see a “cow” chopping away, but all they need to do is chew with their mouth closed and it will fix that annoying issue right up. Gum in classrooms is more good than bad. Multiple tests around the country have come to the same conclusion, yet gum is still not allowed in most schools. Even though some kids ruin the pleasure to have gum by placing it under desks or anywhere besides your mouth abuse that privilege, it doesn't mean the majority of the good students shouldn't lose that privilege
really there is no reason to not chew gum in class. Students should be able to chew
I got a text from my mom, as I went to read it the teacher took my phone right out of my
One reason that I believe that fidget spinners should not be allowed at school is because they are disruptive to other students. Quiet fidget spinners can even be distracting. Teachers can even get distracted by these toys. If a teacher was standing in front of about twenty children doing fidget spinner tricks, it would be a bit distracting.
Cell phones aren 't only used for being on social media and distracting kids, nowadays, there are many other benefits when it comes to use of electronics. Cell phones should be allowed in school not only because a study shows it makes students happy, according to a study conducted in 2005, Sonja Lyubomirsky, Laura King, and Ed Diener found that happiness causes success, but also as an aid, in case of an emergency, and for easier communication skills.
make sense to make it less of a challenge than itImagine that you’ve have studied for 2 months and finally feel confident and prepared, your big chapter test is here! You sit down and get your test, you know all the answers! You are flying through the test and suddenly you hear a buzz and the student across from you giggles. Ignore it, you think. You hear it again BUZZ, you get sidetracked and stare blankly at the test and try to regain focus and attempt to ignore it to the best of your ability. For students in classrooms that allow phones, this is a struggle faced daily and distraction is only the tip of the iceberg of dilemmas. Which is why phones definitely should not be allowed in the classroom.
First is my introductory. This is all my reasons why i don 't want a vending machine. These are all the cons for having a vending machine. This is why i don’t want a vending machine.
The average weight for a student in the middle school to high school range has gone up drastically in the last 10 years. With this being said schools have started taking out things such as soda machines and vending machines with sugary and salty snacks and replaced them with healthy alternatives like vending machines with fruit in them. Time Magazine reported "students weight average in school has gone up 55% since 2007." This rate has gotten out of control and can get even worse if the school system doesn't do something about it. "This year, more schools have taken out snack machines than were put in schools in the 1980's," said Mrs. Michelle Obama at a New York press conference in 2013. Mrs. Obama has taken her fair share in helping schools
Phones, are one of the most addictive things in our lives. We carry them with us everywhere. But, for 6 to 7 hours we need to put the phone down for a power nap. These many hours are spent and school where we sit through classes, dazing out the window. Then a bell rings and it is a lock down and it is not a drill. This is an emergency! The popularity of phones has been debated on if they should be permitted to be carried at school. Students should be allowed to carry phones in school because of safety reasons, a useful tool, and an emergency.
Cell phones being in school is a hotly debated issue nowadays. With all the teenagers having cell phones now the issue of them in school seems to be bigger than it has ever been. Many people think that they are beneficial while others say they distract kids. Research and statistics show that phones prevent more than help kids to learn. Cell phones should be banned in school because they prevent learning, encourage cheating and pose health risks to students that use them.
I think smoking should be banned from public places because not only does it affect the smoker but it also affect anyone that is close by if a child lives in a home with a smoker it can cause the child to develop asthma, lung disease, heart disease, etc. Smoking should be banned in public places for many reason many people do not like the smell of smoke nor want the smell of the smoke to get into their clothes. Smoking also affects the environment. For an example if someone is outside smoking outside near a restaurant and a family wants to sit outside and eat it can affect the family that is eating also if they have kids with them. Usually people look for places where no smokers are so thats why smoking should be banned from all public places.
