Greetings everyone, I hope you all enjoying this fall weather and are excited that it is Spirit Week! On Friday 11/3/17 from 10:30-12:30 we will be having Chicken Waffle Grill on campus to raise money for the students. From the feedback that was provided I was able to make changes for the last event. Dare U To Care Grill is about second chances. This is a special place to eat. Though it is tiny, what happens within its walls are powerful. The grill employes the unemployable: ex-convicts, the homeless and recovering addicts who need to learn new skills in order to re-enter the job market. Dare U To Care Grill is highly rated by the community.
Today I tried the Dollar Tree hot chips (I did not buy them) and they were disgusting, so most definitely there are some items that I much rather prefer to be name-brand than store-brand. I have always tried to give certain store-brand items a chance and save a few dollars. Some make the cut and some literally get cut and go into the trash. One example I will forever remember was when I tried the canned mixed veggies once compared to Del Monte’s; the quality difference was noticeable the instant I opened it and the taste EWWWW, I’ll never give that item another chance. There are some names brand I have 100% brand loyalty to; I blame my mother she never let us try anything different, has to be Best Food 's Mayo, If this woman shows up to my
Rose Bud Veteran’s Memorial Thank you for up-dating me on the Rose Bud Veteran’s Memorial project. Yes! I am “interested in continuing to help” and would appreciate notices concerning future Fund Raising Events. I trust that funds are marching strongly toward the goal.

Working at Publix Deli can be one of the most stressful but rewarding jobs one can ever have. To start off its rude customer central. However I’m not here to sit around and explain the troubles a Publix Deli Associate goes through. We are here to learn how to make the best damn publix sub. There are many things that can make this sub great in many peoples eyes.
I met with two other students at the festival entrance to assist in receiving canned food donations. We also provided coupons for the food donations as well as expressing a positive interest and thankfulness on behalf of the food bank. Food donations were boxed and stacked for collection at the end of the event for easy transport back to the food bank warehouse. Monetary donations were also accepted on behalf of the food bank during the collection event.
In addition to the fair, our facility also provides utilization of the grounds for community functions on a year round basis. Some examples are the annual Fireworks Show, Run for the Wall, food drive during the fair (3,500 pounds of can goods collected), use of the parking lot for school bus driver training, use of the kitchen for our local 4-H groups to hold their annual BBQ fundraisers, Blue Grass Festival, FFA Awards Dinner, wedding receptions, the Palo Verde High School Homecoming dinner and the High School Prom. In the past six years the fair management has worked hard to raise money by applying for grants and establishing a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) foundation.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I just wanted to give you all a couple of updates. I was giving students book bucks for reading at home each night. The students could then redeem their book bucks for a reward. Keeping track of all of the book bucks and rewards has gotten to be confusing.
Good Morning, I am reaching you because I am really interested in applying to be a Resident Assistant. Unfortunately, I missed the interest session because I thought all the process regarding the application was going to be in the spring semester. I wonder is there is any way I can still apply. I would love to be part of the team and do anything I can to be part of it. Please let me know.
Chapter 7 of Fast Food Nation discussed the starting of meatpacking industry and its downfalls. At first, Iowa Beef Packers (IBP) used the same principle as McDonald’s principle to make fast foods. IBP hired unskilled workers just to do simple and repeated work all day. However, competition with other companies made IBP low wages and health insurance options. This caused slaughterhouses to move West to gain cheap labor and land.
