Almost every animated movie has characters who at the beginning don’t really know who they are until the end. By analyzing the progression of the characters Yubaba, Chihiro, and Haku, one can witness the change these characters undergo to prove that love can influence someones mentality. First character is chihiro and in the beginning she’s a girl who is just moving to a new town, but she really doesn’t want to and while her parents are looking for the house they get lost so they go down a pathway that brings them to a lot of stones and a tunnel and her mom and dad decide to check it out and then they find this city like theme place. After going through some of the parts chihiro is starting to have a bad feeling about things. Her dad then smells food and takes off after that her mom and dad start grubbing and she goes on a adventure herself and she sees this black figure with a mask and he is known as no face and then he disappears and then that’s when haku appears but you will learn more about him later …show more content…
He tells her she must go and she shouldn’t be there. Chihiro then starts seeing these shadows that are people and she runs back to her parents, but when she gets there she doesn’t expect her parents to be pigs. And throughout the story she tries to do everything to save them and turn them back into humans and make life go back how it was. So I guess you could say she changed a lot because at the beginning she was a scared and confused little girl but after she saw you know how things were and she saw that it was up to her to fix it or lose her parents she took matters into her own hands and she didn’t stop doing things until she was able to bring them back she even got a job to save her parents. Going on to the next character is yumbaba and
Another character that plays a part into the display of the changing character of Mr. Chiu is his wife. She was a flat and static character. Even though she had very few lines in the story, his thoughts on her has changed from admiration to belittling. He went from worrying about her well-being to calling her stupid for her choice of whom to call to save him. The character that came his rescue is Fenjin.
She asks for all of her friends to come and help, without even hesitation they accept. When they went out to San Fransisco there was a chance that they could die, but they all loved Sheba and want to find their

He has changed in the same way as the rest of his club. He started out as an innocent, intelligent, trustable kid and turned evil and wicked, not thinking for anyone other than himself, trying to beat his first best, with everyone else in the club doing the same. His relationship with Cheryl also changed. They started dating, but near the end of the book, weren’t really sure where their relationship was at that point. How the principal and his parents thought of him also changed.
She later starts to wear no makeup, cuts her hair short, and learns how to shoot guns. She starts to leave weeks at a time with the Greenies going on ambush without telling Mark. It got so far that she just leaves Mark and everyone else to go into the mountains. This is a very heavy change not unlike any other changes we’ve seen in the male
Love in the story is like the energy in a kid, it drives the story and the characters in the story insane. For example, in the story love is what drove Hero into dying and will end killing Tara at the end, “Why should you go on living when she and I are dead? When no one remembers our names?”
During a time of great struggle, there is no doubt that the event will cause the person to change. In something so horrible and traumatizing as the Holocaust, where the Nazi soldiers inflicted so much fear on the Jews, there is no doubt they would feel forced to change in order to survive. Since the Nazis committed such heinous crimes, the victims of the holocaust began to deny their faith, go against their morals in order to survive the stress, and their physical appearances changed due to the little food the Nazi’s gave them in the Concentration camp. Eliezer, the main character of the novel Night, goes through an intense character change from the beginning to the end of his story as a holocaust victim. This event in his life causes a change
It changed the way she sees her family and their judgement. Sookan now
That changed her mood by making her super frustrated and hopeless. The last change that I wrote down was when Sookan and Inchun get separated from mother. Sookan and Inchun were super sad, so they started balling.
As the story progresses, love is expressed in the novel. The author uses character perspectives to express the theme of love. Love is a common topic played in society. The many types of love include, love for an object or thing, family love, and the love for the
Characters can change a great deal throughout the course of a story. Based off of "A Good Man Is Hard to Find," we see just how much a character will change. There are many reasons for the character shift (undergoes an inner change) that are left up for our interpretation, which can be read about in The Theory Toolbox. In "A Good Man Is Hard to Find," the grandma undergoes a great deal of shifting in her character.
Ha, her mother and three brothers escaped where she lived. They escaped by boat. Ha changed because she moved to a different country. She probably thought she was growing up by being more mature in order to help someone she
She started helping around the house, but when she figured out that it wasn’t much, she got a job at the fields and even though she had no experience in it she still went ahead and did it. “Mama had been strong for her. Now it was her turn to be strong for Mama. She must show her that she didn’t need to worry anymore.”(p163) Based on this quote, I can tell that she knew she had to be strong and her Mom’s sickness didn’t make her more sad than she already was, it motivated her to be strong for her mom and whatever was coming up.
‘“I said no. This is ridiculous. I'm exhausted. I'm not filling it back in”’ (104). In the end she left them to go and be spoiled by her parents in the city.
A second example is when her grandmother got sick and she is now being kind of like a song po po because she has to cook and clean for her family. Ji-Li changed
