Political Speech (Child Labour in India) Imagine, how you would feel if you were one of those children from the industry, who have to wake up early in the morning and earn less amount of money each day? We have come really far, we continue to evolve, educate ourselves and we continue to get smarter and smarter every day. What we think smarter and clever, is not really smart. Are we smart enough to force the kids to work? Are we smart enough to ruin their sweet childhood and ruin their whole life? Child Labour is a social virus which spreads across the world. I would like to address my heartbreaking experiences from 2 years ago when I went to India as a member of anti-child labour organizer. I visited one most dangerous factory and I saw hundreds of children working in the dangerous circumstance. If they cannot lift an object or they don 't work hard, the supervisor cut off their money from their wages, hit them or didn 't give them food. I talked to every single child and I saw at least one bruise on their body. I saw one child whose legs are amputated because of heavy machinery. I realised that children in India are trying to survive by working like a slave for day and night to earn enough money to buy food and to find a shelter. Imagine what if one of the children is your daughter or son? what will you do? Will you encourage them to continue working under the hazardous circumstance? It is not too late to fix this social virus. Everything is possible if we try. The main thing I want to address is that we must stop child labour. We will fight for equality and make children free from being a slave. ' 'Blood will have blood ' '. If this social virus doesn 't stop, the next generation to generation will end up being labourer in a hazardous circumstances.
