Analysis of Children’s Books Selection Practices of Filipino Parents from Quezon City with Children Aged 3 to 10 Years Old
Background of the Problem Children’s literature are materials that were created with the purpose of informing and entertaining young people (Library of Congress Collections Policy Statements: Children's Literature, 2008). This genre comprises of a wide variety of works, including picture books, easy-to-read stories, fairy tales, fables, folk songs, lullabies, and other similar materials that are created primarily for children (Fadiman, 2017).
