His contributors support also the same philosophy where God and the Gospel must be the center of every style of worship (16). Also, the contributors’ arguments are quite strong because their thesis is consistent with the biblical teaching. However, each author supports specific worship practices as introduced early in this book. Indeed, the authors’ concern about the current Christians’ worship practices can be described as one of the strengths of this
My desire to be an ambassador for Christ composes the core of my worldview. It infuses my life with purpose, motivates me to study other religions, challenges me to pursue righteousness and maturity, and forces me to rely on God for strength and salvation. My role as an ambassador for Christ constitutes my identity. It answers the questions “why am I here?”
The leadership theory I would like to reflect on is servant leadership theory. Northhouse (2013) servant leadership theory reflects on similar characteristics as authentic leadership. Northhouse (2013) discussed how empowering and ethical servant leaders are with their associates. The characteristics of servant leadership that is similar to authentic leadership would be conceptualization, building community, healing and empathy. As for the characteristics of the authentic leadership approach, it is listed as establishing trusting relationships with others, understanding the purpose, having strong values in doing the right thing (ethically) and being enthusiastic about their assignment (Northhouse, 2013).
Without it, we wouldn’t be able to keep friends, have good relationships with co-workers and teachers, or even keep a job. Quiet Strength is a reminder to respect others and put our trust in God. God has a plan behind those decisions. We just have to trust in
Henry Nouwen defines leadership in a Christian scope in his book “In the Name of Jesus”. He shows the most common problems that a leader can face when he turns away from God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit and relies solely on himself. Thus, he writes about the example of Jesus as the perfect leader and the ways he used to overcome all these problems and temptations. Nouwen sees leadership not as an individual task, but as a community matter. He emphasizes the

Leaders are individuals who can inspire and motivate followers through their actions and words. Servant leaders put an emphasis on the needs and desires of others and place them over their own. Servant leadership is rare when compared to other leadership styles. The term servant leadership was coined by Robert K. Greenleaf, in his essay, “Servant Leaders” (Center for Servant Leadership, n.d.). However, servant leadership can be traced back to biblical times, with Jesus being the perfect example of a servant leader.
I am in total agreement with Clark Pinnock. All of Christendom needs to regard the Spirit’s stirring among the Body of Christ in Pentecostal groups. The church can fulfill the Great Commission more effectively if we take in the consideration of a Pentecostal ecclesiology. Because the Holy Spirit bears witness to Jesus, and through his presence brings Christ’s presence to the church to endow it with the Father’s presence for the world, a Spirit ecclesiology can and must remain highly Christological and Trinitarian in its theological foundation. I believe that the Acts 2 Pentecost experience is a “reality” operating today, and that the charismatic gifts are the primary means by which the church is made visible to the world today.

Barnard Leadership may be defined as a position of power held by an individual in a group, which provides an opportunity to exercise interpersonal influence on the group members for mobilizing and directing their efforts towards certain goals. The leader is at the centre of group’s power structure, keeps the group together, infuses life into it, moves it towards its goals and maintains its momentum. Leadership is regarded as an important function in any organisation which seeks to maximize efficiency and to achieve organizational goals. Leadership is important to initiating action within the organisation,
Conduct research about a biblical figure such as Moses, David, Paul, Joseph, Esther, or Nehemiah to learn about how the biblical leader exemplified servant leadership and see how the principles of servant leadership transcend time and place. Think about the contemporary leader you are researching for the Topic 4 assignment, and discuss the similarities you see between the biblical servant leader and the contemporary servant leader. Provide specific examples to illustrate the similarities you have identified and include discussion about what you think makes the principles of servant leadership applicable regardless of time or place. For this assignment I have chosen to complete further research on Moses and
