Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4.2 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, (2015 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals). These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. They increase funds and awareness for local children’s hospitals to save lives. Some are battling cancer, traumatic injury, constant, or with a genetic disease. Regardless of why the …show more content…
Brand consistency is one of the main lacking of CMN Hospitals, (Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. 2015). Their brand recognition is one of the weakness that affect the network nationwide. CMN Hospitals works with national and international corporate sponsors. Hospitals has teamed up with each hospital to increase their brand awareness in local regions, (2015 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals). I think the brand needs to be explained a little more as well as marketed more to the public. Most people don’t even know who CMN is unless they see a balloon and are asked at the registers and other checkouts of other facilities. Celebrity name list is one to me although they have a great list of celebrities already. I feel it may need to be revamped and more added since the make a wish foundation and others are surpassing them in this. The celebrities are not as closely connected to CMN Hospitals in the eyes of the public as celebrities for other children’s charities such as St. Jude are. ”St. Jude has leveraging celebrity endorsements which has made St. Jude one of the most widely-known children’s charities.” I think revamping this could help the contributions to the CMN network as well as help them gain a lot more new contributors. Company name is kind of confusing I think this is somewhat true and somewhat not. I do think a better name should be developed that would be more catchy and make people want to donate. Although I feel that the name isn’t really the problem it’s mostly just promoting your

For their marketing strategies, St. Jude uses celebrity stars connection as well as good marketing decisions and programs to attract the consumers and businesses. This type of marketing brings in hundreds of millions of dollars each year for the hospital. Some of their fundraising efforts were Trike-a-thon, Math-a-thon, Up 'Til Dawn and the Dream Home Giveaway (Zmuda, 2011). Their celebrity connections started when the founder, Danny Thomas, would get celebrities like Bob Hope and Sammy Davis Jr. to come and support the cause. Today his children Marlo, Tony and Terre continue to be involved and get celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Robin Williams and Antonio Banderas to support (Zmuda, 2011).

My mother has worked for Children’s Mercy for nine years, and it has been a huge blessing to hear about all of the wonderful things that Children’s Mercy does for our community. As a result of Children’s Mercy being a not for profit hospital, their funding must come from sources outside of their patients. One of the biggest fundraisers that Children’s Mercy conducts is called The Big
Singer ties this back to the opportunity that many have to save the lives of children by sending money to charities but choose not
This organization gives money to children with life altering diseases or illnesses. Tom Brady has reached out to help support such foundations as EIF, to help cure cancer, end world hunger, and to end poverty everywhere. The idea is to help retrieve donations from famous icons to help support this less fortunate children as they fight their illnesses. They go by that saying and help many children receive toys for Christmas. They helped many children in Rockaway Beach in Queens New York that were affected by the destruction from Hurricane Sandy, many of the children wouldn’t have Christmas presents due to the destruction and their parents wouldn’t have enough money to get them the presents that they wanted. The people that came up with the idea to help those children were Dominick and Kevin. Dominick is a jazz trumpet player and Kevin is a monster truck driver. Though they were very different, both of them came together and made those kids dreams come true in having a wonderful Christmas.

After avoiding month amount of entertainments, you could save a child, for this you just donate about “$200 to save a child 's life” (Singer 4). After people donate money to charity companies they feel like they have made the world a little bit better. But, wait a minute. In the reality, we still have a 6-year-old child somewhere and of whom no one cares anymore, while there is no guarantee that after this period the child will be provided shelter, food or education. He will simply be thrown out on the chance.
Lights Camera Fashion is a charity based fashion show to raise money for St. Jude Research Hospital. Every penny earned by ticket sells, sponsorships, and donations was totaled up and donated to the hospital to help with patients. I have always known I wanted to have a career where I could help children in need but wasn’t sure on the exact occupation I wanted to take on in the future. That night I was introduced to something I never considered, helping children in need with cancer. When the massive check was written out and finalized all of the models went to
