The scientific name for coconut is Cocos nucifera. Nucifera means a “nut-bearing.” The term coconut can refer to the entire coconut palm, the seed, or the fruit. It is classified as a “functional or wonder food” because it provides many health benefits beyond its nutritional content. It has now become a more popular subject in the skincare. It helps to deep moisturize, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. For best result try to wash your face using coconut oil once a day.

What you have to do is Rub coconut oil directly onto your dirty face in the morning, then to open up pores use a hot towel, twisted and dry then let it sit on face until it cools down. Then, wipe your face gently with towel to remove any dirt that comes out from dissolving in the oil. You will see visible dirt coming off your skin.
