He added English words, partner in crime and away in the middle of his Bahasa Indonesia sentence. Furthermore, inter-sentential switching is the second types of code switching that most Indonesian people used in their tweets. The example of inter-sentential switching is tweet from @s: Intinya jangan menyerah—berjalanlah fokus terus ke depan—jangan tengok-tengok ke belakang. Fear not, strength unknown He will provide. The use of codes was extremely pivotal, for only a chosen few would be able to know what the codes meant. The enemy would have no idea as to what the codes were about which was very important. Major Tallmadge realized this; therefore, he created a code book that allowed information to be passed on discretely and to protect his fellow group members (“Culper”). Similarly, the book, known as the Culper Code Book, utilized 763 codes which substituted for words, places, dead drops, and people (“Culper Code Book”). Words went in order by the letter they started with in the alphabet and corresponded with the numbers in numerical order.

Cullington argues that “texting actually has a minimal effect on student writing” (pg. 367). She addresses the opposition directly, even citing credible sources. However, she also cites credible sources with better information to support her point, and even conducts an experiment of her own.
Speakers form and establish a pidgin language when two or more speakers who do not speak a common language form an intermediate, third language. On the other hand, speakers practice code-switching when they are each fluent in both languages. Code mixing is a thematically related term, but the usage of the terms code-switching and code-mixing varies. Some scholars use either term to denote the same practice, while others apply code-mixing to denote the formal linguistic properties of language-contact phenomena, and code-switching to denote the actual, spoken usages by multilingual persons. Literature scholars use the term code- switching to describe literary styles which include elements from more than one language, e.g. novels by Latino writers,

An ethical dilemma happens when two or more ethical principles conflict with one another. Ethical dilemmas are problematic situations in which it is not clear which choice will be the right one. The CP is stuck as to what to do next because there is not just one outcome that will satisfy the ethical principles as stated in the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) Code of Ethics (Kirst-Ashman & Hull, 2012). According to the SASW (2017), the core values of social work are embedded in the ethical responsibilities, which are relevant to the professional activities of social workers.

Furthermore, this may lead to disruptive behavior as the teacher cannot demand good behavior from their learners and thus there will not be enough time to teach a certain subject if all the time spent is on trying to get their learners to work (Rodrigo: 2016). Another negative aspect of code-switching is miscommunication and misinterpreting what has been said. This could lead to a teacher being offensive to learners if a phrase or sentence is used incorrectly and thus diminishing the professional relationship between students and teachers. For example, a teacher might say a phrase in another language but a student could take the phrase out of context, which may cause many problems.
