It was a normal sunny day.Samantha was abandoned by the parents at age 15. Samantha woke up knowing that she was not alone in her house. She felt this type of presence with her in her room. She gets a phone call from her friends she had met the day before. Her friend Juliet tells her if she wants to go to the movies with her Vanessa and Melissa. Juliet says, “I will pick you up at 8:00. Don’t bring anyone else with you”. Later that evening, Samantha gets picked up. While her friend Juliet is driving, Samantha sees a man on the side of the road. The man is there once they get to the movies.Other people had seen the suspicious looking man. The movie supervisor tells everyone to evacuate. Juliet insists to stay. The movie finished a couple hours later.
The use of codes was extremely pivotal, for only a chosen few would be able to know what the codes meant. The enemy would have no idea as to what the codes were about which was very important. Major Tallmadge realized this; therefore, he created a code book that allowed information to be passed on discretely and to protect his fellow group members (“Culper”). Similarly, the book, known as the Culper Code Book, utilized 763 codes which substituted for words, places, dead drops, and people (“Culper Code Book”). Words went in order by the letter they started with in the alphabet and corresponded with the numbers in numerical order. For example, the beginning word “a” corresponded with the number one and “vacant” went along with the number 650
My interests in technology did not come until later in my life; when I attended my first engineering and technology workshop. Back in the summer of 2012 I was accepted into the Rowan University’s Boys Engineering, Science, and Technology (BEST) Program. Throughout the event I was in awe and fascinated by what engineering had to offer. We built bottle rockets and constructed penny bridges, but what stood out to me the most was the hands on experience with computer programming. Our task was to create a calculator with the resources we were provided. Being thrown into something I have never experienced before was a learning curve, but eventually I was able to program my calculator to compute 2+2. It might seem elementary now, but to me this experience was the spark that hooked me into the world of technology.
“It is our view that Computer Science (CS) education is neglecting basic skills, in particular in the areas of programming and formal methods. We consider that the general
List and explain the top 5 factors that are required, at a bare minimum, to make an application secure.
The development and dependence on the internet, and also complexity of interloper skills, additional resources is on demand. To fulfill this demand, the CERT/CC became one part of the larger CERT Division. The CERT is stand for the coordination center of the computer emergency response team (CERT) for the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). The CERT Division is funded mostly by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. It is often being confused with US-CERT. Usually, US-CERT concern is US national security, while CERT/CC concern is more universal situations, regularly internationally.
1. I know how to use a computer (I love technology and use it every day and I got to know it)
For my Personal Project topic, I chose to create a website or a mobile application for iOS by coding. I chose this in hope of successfully creating a social media website/app where students could enter their service activities and have fun doing it. They would be able to see what their friends have done as well as being able to post and sign up for new service activities. Administration could also use this as a record for points/hours (depending on the school). I would call this website/application ObServe. I chose this for my personal project because I have always been good with technology and enjoyed working with it. Also, every year since 7th grade, I have participated in the worldwide movement called Hour of Code. This past year, I instead helped kindergarten through third graders at my school participate in the
People can be dealing with something that is very unfortunate. This could be someone being depressed of someone feeling lonely. Lets say this happens in a book. You can give your a character the abstract gift of friends if they are lonely or joy if they are depressed. An abstract gift expresses a quality, characteristic or idea apart from any specific object or instance. An abstract gift is not an object or something you can touch. In the book “The Bar Code Rebellion” by Suzanne Weyn. This book falls in the genre between young-adult fiction, science fiction. and dystopia. The main character in this book is named Kayla Reed. She is brave and determined. However in the beginning Kayla may not be okay herself after all.
My experience and proficiency with programming languages, linear algebra, algorithms and database concepts is supported by the following facts:
E/M codes tell what was done in the office. Everything that the doctor or physician has done is documented, and coded. If a certain thing was not done then it should not be coded, and charged for that is considered fraud. Also everything that is done in the office must be documented, and coded using the E/M codes. If the E/M coding was done incorrectly the person would get in trouble for fraud, and not only that the office would have a bad reputation, and other insurance companies wouldn 't probably want to go through that office anymore. It is important that the E/M codes are done correctly, because if not it could cause a lot of trouble.
Amusing the Million by John F. Kasson uses Coney Island as a turning point in American history before World War I. Coney Island at the rise of a new mass culture during the twentieth century allowed society to be free from the ever so conformity that the government has bestowed upon them. Being free from the urban industrialized genteel control; the creation of Coney Island served a purpose to detach from the formal culture in which they were living in. This era has sparked cultural freedom with that gave society a thrilling new find in amusement parks which went against societal genteel norms.
A college education is the under-lying key to success in one’s future, are words most children heard and became conditioned to believe; however, while many aspire to go to college after high school, not everyone can, or should follow the path of higher education in hope of making a million dollars in one’s lifetime. Wendy Mead articles in Autobiography.com shares the autobiography of accomplished gymnast Simone Biles, while Dean Takahashi article Eight grader knocks Angry Birds out of the top free spot on the App Store offers his reader an insight into renowned entrepreneur Ronald Nay. In the TEDtalk Gaming to re-engage boys in learning Ali Carr-Chellman introduces a new and exciting perspective that explains how teachers need to use more enriched methods to engage boys in school work. She uses her knowledge to educate the audience about boys demanding a higher quantity and quality of educational video games. Carr-Chellman later states that utilizing such methods will “peak boys interest in learning” (Carr-Chellman, 2010). Moreover, the TEDtalk determined that game developers must update their design/functionality to better suit boys’ educational wellbeing.
The bright, early morning sunrise shone through the wide cabin window, the sunbeams filtering in past the glass, illuminating the room a vibrant orange. The Personal Organiser awoke instantly, the screen blinking swiftly. With it, a shrill, annoying beeping reverberated around the room, certain to wake up the average user. Soon after the beeping began, a finger rested on the master switch, confidently clicking the machine into idle mode. Then a rich, lifelike female voice emitted from the machine.
