At that point, about a month later on April 5, Helen related the water running over her hand with the letters w-a-t-e r that Anne was spelling into her hand. That day she learned thirty words and turned out to be an exceptionally astute, quick learner from that point on. She immediately took in the fingertip letters in order and presently, to compose. Helen had aced Braille and figured out how to utilize a by the age of 10. When she was 16, she could talk alright to go to private academy and school.
Lupe is super smart and she shows it a lot at the beginning. One example the author stated at beginning. That she was the winner at her local library reading contest in the summer three time in a row. You would have to be very dedicated to reading to be a young girl and win three times and in a row. Another example of how lupe shows how brilliant she is.

Students in small classes perform better and will lead them to achieve better academic success. One of a noticeable experiment and well-designed research done on the class size reduction was the Tennessee study “The Student-Teacher Achievement Ratio, known as Project Star”. It was a remarkable research because students of kindergarten level were enrolled in three different classes, a small class of 13 to 17 children, a normal sized class of 22 to 26 children and a normal-sized class with both a teacher and full-time teacher’s assistant. The students remained in the classes they were assigned until they reached third grade. (Ehrenberg, 2001).

1) The universal screening helps identify those at risk for reading disabilities and it involves the whole school. It is typically done three times throughout the whole school year. This can greatly help a student successfully communicate during classroom activities at the end of a six-week period at least 3 out of 5 times when prompted by the teacher or a peer to answer a question or give an opinion about the activity. Out of a possible 24 points I gave this app 20 points in total. In the Curriculum Connection, I gave the app full points because it strongly reinforces the targeted skill of communication. For the authenticity of the app I gave 3 of 4 points since it doesn’t use a specific formula for communication. Feedback received 1 point because there is no feedback in this app.
In my Avid class we have been doing the quizzes that determine what we understand, find confusing, and our personality. By doing this we have found what we are good at and how we will succeed. Since this is my first year of high school, I can apply my strengths into my systems to have a postitive result. I have three systems: school (#1), home (#2), and sports (#3).
Detailed Record of Observation: 7H45 am I arrive at the office and I am well received by Bev, the Principal Directress of the school, who walked me to meet Heidi, the 3-6 year old Directress who took me on a classroom tour while the children were still outside playing. She tells me that the 5-6 year Old does normally start their school work before others, at 8H30, because they are on a school readiness programme. These children work on a BRIGING book which enables them to be prepared for CAPS curriculum when they start Grade1. Heidi introduces me to Sherrie, her assistant.
