It is also important to develop speaking and listening skills together because most of the time in real life these skills are needed at the same time. In addition to speaking, teachers can ask students practice writing a topic related to the listening. Thus, combining those skills will help prepare students for listening situations in real life where several skills often need to be used simultaneously. Harmer (2007) suggests “live listening” can be applied for listening lesson instead of using audio material story-telling, interviews, and conversations. Adding to that, Doff mentions that “using English for chatting to the class, for giving instructions and explanations” will provide students with very useful listening practice.
100 samples were selected from four dictionaries, where a ten-page-segment is derived from a medium-sized-Japanese-English dictionary as its base. The samples need to fulfill two criteria: they are mono-morphemic native noun with an initial voiceless obstruent and they are without medial voice obstruent. If the sample appears in the other three dictionaries once, the sample is then drawn into the final sample. Similar method is used when selecting Sino-Japanese binoms. With the result of 87% of native Japanese and 10% of Sino-Japanese binoms that undergo sequential voicing.

This paper target is to go thru the experience of authentic texts used in a lesson for a class from the Level OMA1 and as the practice has tell us not every lesson can be a home run and not every class can be a perfect experience, However, for instructors and students alike there are a few points on the methodology in order to improve and personalize the teaching and make the learning as efficient as possible crucial for the improvement of the development of the learning of the second language. Probably the most important accomplishment is motivating students to want to contribute and be involved in the classroom using a variety of the necessary language skills and thereby increasing their English ability over the time. The Class. Equally important is to mention the level of the class and for this purpose is
One of these methods is teaching grammar through reading and writing. Students can learn correct grammar by reading passages or their peers writing. A teacher can use a strategy called grouping to have students teach each other about grammar. From the article Grouping Students to Teach Grammar, Breznak and Scott suggest that, “Students learn best when they teach to someone else” (Breznak and Scott, 2003). Students can be given a writing prompt and have their peers edit their work.
- The role of the teacher is that of facilitator and guide. Therefore, students are encouraged to construct meaning through genuine linguistic interaction with others. To sum up, communication language teaching can help students to use the target language as much as possible. This approach places great emphasis on helping students create meaning rather than helping them develop perfectly grammatical structures. As mentioned above, my personal language teaching methodology may be described as a mixed method.
When a teacher teaches English subject especially in learning pronunciation, she or he have to know that pronunciation teaching is to improve their speaking immeasurably not only makes students aware of different sound and sound features. Some teachers make little attempt to teach pronunciation in any overt way and only give attention to it in passing. It is possible that they are nervous of dealing with sounds and intonation; perhaps they feel have too much to do already and pronunciation teaching will only make things worse. There are many factors that influence language teaching, especially English pronunciation teaching. Beside teacher should select the media that suitable to be applied in teaching English pronunciation, they also should know how to teach pronunciation well.
With all this conflicts we’re still searching for ways to teach pronunciation. Many researchers suggest to use dialogues during pronunciation, and not just reading them, giving students time to think how to say the words in the context. Another way is called shadow reading. In this activity learner reads along with a competent reader (Scrivener, 2005). Using and saying the word in the context (in its natural place) and letting the learners to repeat is a useful way as well.
