I thought everything out and my mom and I would go to my grandma’s house on Christmas eve stay there till Christmas day then leave that night. That way I could be back the next day. This Christmas eve the procrastination was strong and I saved all my wrapping for that day so we did all the wrapping and proceed to go to grandmas house. Long car ride puts me to sleep so I fell asleep on the way up
On Tuesday after my mom dropped me off, she went back home and picked up my grandma from our house. She stayed the weekend and my mom was driving her to the train station. About half way through the trip, something happened. There was a moose in the road! They tried to drive around, but it kept walking as they moved.
Reluctantly, her parents allow her to stay home alone. A few hours later, a familiar gold jalopy pulls up to her house. The driver announces to Connie that his name is Arnold Friend. His unusual physical appearance, his tone of voice, and what he may symbolize frighten the Connie.
Around ten o’clock my dad still hadn't made it to the dinner but it was closing time so I walked home. I had texted and called him around twenty times and I haven't heard anything from him. There were two ways to get home one took about an hour the other was about 30 minutes.
uniquely, the drive home was terrifying Walter was driving 10 miles over the speed limit because he was dreaming of being a Nascar Driver he almost drove into a house when I pulled the steering on main street. I snapped him into the real world then I made him pull over and we switched so I could drive. After I was about to lose my life, then we talked about what will be his plans next week so I can take him to breakfast next week and how he told me he was fine with going to breakfast. After I dropped him off at his house he told me how he wanted to see me one of these days so he and his daughter want to go get ice cream,I told him it was fine.when he got to the top step he turned around and said “see you next week Jose” I waved back and drove off.
and i was excited for all driving adventured to come with my friends. I felt nothing but excitement. Driving was everything i hoped and anticipated it to be, Except for one exception. One day in June i had just gotten out of school and my little brother had called me to pick him up from the opposite side of the school building, but with an unbearable line traffic i choose to take a lap around town to get to the other side, living in a small town i thought this would take less time then waiting in the line with no patience. I was at a red light very close to the school when i had a green arrow i proceeded on driving straight until very suddenly a car had pulled out directly into the street inches in front of me, with very little time to even get my foot on the brake, i had smashed directly into the driver side of the other car.
This story starts after having spent 8 hours in a car and having the realization I was getting sick the day before. I woke up at 7 o’clock to get ready and eat before I met my mentor. I was nervous but excited for the day ahead. I finished my oatmeal and began to walk in the snow to where I thought I saw the ranger station the night before, but then again it was dark out. After I got there I had to wait, because in my excitement had arrived ten minutes early.

My friend Ilene and I were standing in the middle of the driveway trying to decide where to go that evening , and at the moment stumped! the common where do you want to go , I don't know where do you want to goes were floating around too damn long , seeing as it was the week before Halloween I felt in the seasonal cheer and excitement but reluctant to mention my desires to drive down a hunted road ,"supposedly", haunted road , it was long and story goes a young woman was driving down it in the 70s when she picked up a poor old guy walking in the rain, unknown to her , he was walking away from a murder scene, he had seemed to of had enough of a knit picking grumpy wife , poor fella was at his wits end and he snapped , not the way you would wish for a person to snap mind you but , a snap just the same , often younger peoples hearts seems to pour out and drip from there every word and emotion, must be hormones , I don't know , either way we girls sort of felt badly for the man, as we talked about that 19 70's evening drive the young woman ,( Nancy Finley ) poor nancy finley Ilene said I feel bad for her too, she was so young and just got married I was told by a friends big brother who knew someone who knew her , really , keep in mind this was the middle of the 1980's .
I was so excited the night before it was the same kind of excitement i has as a kid on birthdays and christmas. I remembered trying to go to sleep all night and wake up just to see that it was only in the wee hours of the morning. I remember how i found out i was going i was sitting in the car on my way back from justin all star football game when his mom asked me what i was doing for the super bowl i told her that everybody was going to my aunt 's house but i wasn 't because me and my cousin always seemed to argue. I went on and on about it for 30 minutes before she engaged herself in the conversation.
My mom ushered my sister into the truck as I called for my dog to leap in after her. We rushed to our neighbor’s house to give the fire trucks room on the street and waited while my dad conversed with the first responders. Because of my experience, I understand why Neil Beidleman reacted during the tragic snow storm. He was stable during the
I had to take my mother to work so that I could have the car and the next stop was my hair appointment. As I began to get my hair done the time became closer and closer to the time for graduation rehearsal. I had to speed from east Montgomery to north Montgomery in less than 10 minutes. Once I arrived, I soon realized that I was the last person to show up at rehearsal. My class mates loved me so much that they stalled until I got there.
October 14 7:07 am: The raindrops glisten as i walk along the road listening to my walkman. “another day another blunder” i thought to myself. when im a minute away the bus drives right by me. “oh crap” i pull out my phone to call my parents. When I get to my bus stop I like all my parents and they come pick me up but when they before they do that they yell at me like every other day when I get to school I go straight to the band room to drop off my bass clarinet.
On December 31, 2013, Jeanette Cruthis was on her way to an ordinary basketball practice. It was a cold, snowy day and the roads were very icy. Before leaving her house, her neighbor had warned her to drive safely because the roads were slick. This was the day that Cruthis went through a life changing experience that changed her outlook on family forever.
I originally thought spending thirty minutes outside alone without any technology, friends, or distractions was going to be extremely difficult for me. I do not consider myself an outdoor kind of person. So when I first read the assignment I did not really want to do it. I decided since I had to do this I would go some place that is really nice in hope that it would make it easier for me to tolerate being there. I went to Lake Wauberg here at the University of Florida.
