As a college student at SUNY Broome I struggle with where I want to transfer after my two years at Broome. I really only have one college in mind so far, while I explore my other options. My first option is University of New Haven in Connecticut. Which is a private school actually right down the street from Yale University, or I might go to another SUNY School but, I am currently facing this problem on where I want to wind up after Broome .

My first choice is the University of New Haven. This is a tiny private school in Connecticut. My major is Sports Management which they do have in a bachelor's degree which for now I will be focusing on. The school is a little bit smaller than what I am use to looking at but I believe this school is one of my best options. The student size at New Haven is around 5,000 undergraduate students which is pretty okay to me. One of the biggest things I like about this college is that it is very close to the cities of Boston and my favorite city New York City which is just a train ride away, that's an important factor to me because I really enjoy how close I would be to both. The University of New Haven is a very prestigious school and I'd be honored to be accepted into the school. The school accepts about 20% percent of the transfers that apply. While the University of New Haven has a relatively small enrollment, New Haven is the largest city in Connecticut with a population of about 130 thousand. Being that New Haven is a large city I will get to experience the city atmosphere I’ve been dreaming about. Another perk about the University of New Haven having a smaller enrollment is there is a 16:1 student-faculty ratio, with this in mind I will have a similar teaching experience as I did in high school which is important to me to have a connection to my educators.
