As a college student at SUNY Broome I struggle with where I want to transfer after my two years at Broome. I really only have one college in mind so far, while I explore my other options. My first option is University of New Haven in Connecticut. Which is a private school actually right down the street from Yale University, or I might go to another SUNY School but, I am currently facing this problem on where I want to wind up after Broome .
My first choice is the University of New Haven. This is a tiny private school in Connecticut. My major is Sports Management which they do have in a bachelor's degree which for now I will be focusing on. The school is a little bit smaller than what I am use to looking at but I believe this school is one of my best options. The one thing I really like about the campus is that it is very spread

The student size at New Haven is around 5,000 undergraduate students which is pretty okay to me. One of the biggest things I like about this college is that it is very close to the cities of Boston and my favorite city New York City which is just a train ride away, that's an important factor to me because I really enjoy how close I would be to both. The University of New Haven is a very prestigious school and I'd be honored to be accepted into the school. The school accepts about 20% percent of the transfers that apply. While the University of New Haven has a relatively small enrollment, New Haven is the largest city in Connecticut with a population of about 130 thousand. Being that New Haven is a large city I will get to experience the city atmosphere I’ve been dreaming about. Another perk about the University of New Haven having a smaller enrollment is there is a 16:1 student-faculty ratio, with this in mind I will have a similar teaching experience as I did in high school which is important to me to have a connection to my educators. Of
The University could also find a way to give students access to shuttle services that can go between the two campuses so that students can utilize both locations. However, if Roger Williams could give students the option to take all of their courses in Bristol or in Providence it is undeniable that a number of students would take the opportunity, if for only one year. This program could act as almost a “mini study abroad” program where students get to study in Providence for a year and get a
There are many different institutions of higher learning located in the states capital Richmond, Virginia. Some of the top schools in Richmond are Virginia commonwealth university (VCU), Virginia Union University (VUU) and the University of Richmond. When trying to choose which of the three universities would be the better choice you must compare different variables such as the cost, the acceptance and graduation rate, and the overall population and size of the school. After researching this topic I have concluded that the best university to attend in Richmond is VCU.
Now as I am in the application processes, I have to evaluate what schools I want to apply to and why because if I don’t I’ll wind up applying to 50 colleges (including
Private Four-Year Institutions Maryland is also home to 17 private four-year institutions, which offer bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in a variety of fields. Private institutions can be more expensive than public institutions, but they often have smaller class sizes and more personalized attention from professors. Some private institutions in Maryland include Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University Maryland, and Mount St. Mary's
I have visited all three campuses and attended a class there when walking around the campuses it made me imagine myself going to those school because of the environment and the majors they are known for. Above all, when I search deep inside, the campuses are top diverse schools. The size of the campuses are also where I want it to be, not too small or not to big. The location of the campus is one thing I consider when I choose one of this college as my top choice because it is convenient school where I am able to go to my parent’s house because I want to make sure that I can come to my family once a week. Even though living on campus is a requirement for me, it is an hour and a half drive from my mother house.
The Ohio State University sits on 1,592 acres on the Columbus campus and 58,663 students (“OSU Statistical Summary”). There is an obvious difference between the sizes of the two campuses, and a smaller campus makes more overall sense for me. I like building interpersonal relationships, and I feel that this is much more possible on a smaller campus. Having a lower acreage also decreases my anxiety over being late to class, which is something that has become a real fear of mine. However, a larger campus does provide more opportunities to meet new
Most well-known for its great football program. The university consists of 20,559 undergraduate students on a 295 acre campus. Although I must say right off the bat I am indeed a ducks fan, but I of all people know that the area of the campus is not the best and there is a bit of a crime area from being there and Otis will definitely back me up. The University of Oregon is located in Eugene, Oregon which is about 1 hour and 22 minutes away and that is not going to happen. Living that far away and would have to live on campus to go to school.
New York University has always been the school I have pictured myself attending since I was a child. I walk past NYU on my way home from school everyday and I can picture myself being involved in the energetic atmosphere that the school provides. NYU is a school which I believe will challenge me both academically and socially to help me become the best version of myself that I can be. The types of people which NYU help to educate are nothing short of spectacular both as people and in their fields.
I found this school interesting because it is only an hour away from my house. The population of ucla is 43,239. I think it will be good to go to a school of this size because i get to meet many people who could have the same career choices as me . Tuition for this school is $13,251 for nine months.
This is a benefit to a student considering UCA because it is much easier to know the campus and understand its layout. Also, the class size is much smaller at UCA, allowing a student to understand the material better. Therefore, when it comes to the size of classes and campuses, the University of Central Arkansas is the better choice because it is much
To make this tremendous change, the college I attend must be a suitable match for my current and future needs. After much research and analysis, both Missouri State University and Savannah College of Art and Design would benefit me well because of their academic majors, convenient admissions, and captivating student life. To enable a successful future, the college I attend must have a degree that involves fashion and must include networking
It’s an excellent college to go too and has lots of art courses and classes. The schools’ dorms are interesting and higher rated, but I feel like this school is the right one for me. Here would be facts why I’m interested in it, and hopefully if you aren’t sure which college to chose then you might consider the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The social facts about this college would be: • B in Academics • A in Diversity • B in Professors • A in Student Life
Secondly, UST is in the proximity to my home since it would only take 30 minutes in a good traffics; therefore, I can commute from home and I can save more money from accommodations. UST also locates in the heart of downtown, nearby to the Texas medical center, Houston museums, shopping malls, and diverse restaurants. The students can enjoy the varieties in facility with walking distance. Third, the tuition is affordable with the consideration of the education quality from the University of St. Thomas. From the past record, the recent graduates from UST have a set career and can get first dip in the job market since the school encourages the student to get internships and all the other opportunities that the student need in their path to success.
In addition to an already great general academic experience, being able to enroll in the College of Arts & Sciences at UPenn would ensure that I am fully taking advantage of the opportunities available in secondary academics. I plan to take a pre-medicine approach to the school, which means I will end up majoring in biology, chemistry, or some other major that will help pave the way for medical school. When people mention college research facilities, the name “University of Pennsylvania” is always on the list, which stands to reason that if I want the facilities and opportunities to take my college experience into my own hands, UPenn is where I want to be. Having state-of-the-art research laboratories will help me to learn science and medicine in a way the few other students will have the opportunity to take advantage of, giving me the needed leverage to make it into medical school and help make advances in the field while others are learning out of text books. I also know that after working with such great students at UPenn, I will have plenty of connections for later in life, allowing me better opportunities for jobs in the
