I completed Kindergarten to grade 3 and then grade 5-8 in Tall Pines School, Brampton. We moved to Sault Saint Marie for one year because of my father’s work, where I completed my fourth grade in Grandview Public School. I have always been interested in art as I saw myself painting or sketching while listening to music. My parents also loved my little creations and encouraged me to pursue my interest. When it was time to select a secondary school, I attended many open houses but I selected Mayfield Secondary School because of strong Visual Arts program. This was the best decision I made so far. The Regional Arts Program is intense and requires one to think and create unique pieces of art. While working on a project, we do discuss the idea in detail and the materials to be used. I love pen & ink, sketching, and conte' work. I like creating abstract art because I feel that each piece is unique. One has to spend some time to understand the idea behind it. I still need to work on my portrait skills, but I am sure if I continue to work under the guidance of experts, I will improve. My training in Mayfield Secondary School has inspired me to continue to work in Art and Design

I made a list of all the schools available in this area. Then I wrote the pros and cons of each school. I included the distance to the school, the ratings and reviews of the program, reviews of the school, the accreditations, the flexibility of the classes, and the cost. I weighed my answers and came to the conclusion that Brown Mackie would be a good fit for not only

With practice and patience, I actually started to enjoy drawing. I took an art class as my elective and I thought that this would be my future. I thought I finally found myself, but problems started to show. From family problems to losing friends. Losing friends took a deep toll on my life because I’ve never experienced this feeling before.
This spawned an inevitable future. By drawing stories that had already been written I started to then make my own stories and characters. Drawing became part of my identity. Both in my family and at school I was identified as an “artsy kid.”
When you are enrolled in the same school district with the same classmates and the same buildings for all of your life, you begin to crave diversity. I have been surrounded by brilliant people who have influenced me to become the person that I am today and have been supported by my school district that constantly builds me up, and for that I am appreciative. Consequently, all of the qualities that my hometown instilled in me have prepared me for something extraordinary. The Craft Academy is an immense step for not only my career, but to the people closest to me. As much as my family and friends would yearn for me to stay home, they have encouraged me to pursue whatever I put my mind to.
When I first graduated high school I thought I wanted to be a pilot to fly airplanes, so I signed up to attend classes at Kishwaukee College located in DeKalb. ECC helped me sing up for classes at an in district rate because Elgin could not offer the courses that I wanted to me. During the first semester I found out that I did not want to become a pilot anymore and that I would be happier if I changed and focused on computer science. The advisors helped me schedule classes back at ECC for computer science then next semester. During the last year and a half at ECC I have been able to start fulfilling my education goals by getting a good education and find out what I want to go to college for.
As a Junior and Senior in high school, making the decision of where I’m going to school next year is one of the most frightening decisions I’ve ever had to make. In the moment, it feels like if I make the wrong choice, my world is going to shatter apart. If I pick the wrong choice, my life is over. There is so much pressure weighing on one decision, and within that decision there's dozens of factors to consider. What types of programs does this school offer?
(USNews) Being a starving artist is hard. It would be harder to pay for your debt with the starting salary RISD alumnis have, but with as many internships and extracurriculars te school has, job experience will be easy to attain. In turn from that, a good job will also be easy to obtain. Personally, I plan on working at Glossier, a makeup company with its headquarters in New York City, if my art career falls out or if I decide it’s not the way for me to go after all. Both of these schools have majors and minors that could help me to attain my goal of being VP of Design & UX at Glossier and I am willing to work harder to pay off what I have

I’m Brittany, Britt, B, whatever you feel! Originally from Jacksonville, FL but now living in beautiful Savannah, GA where I’m currently completing this course. As of now, my major is fashion marketing and management. However, I’m beginning to lean more towards graphic design which is why I enrolled in this course. Something interesting about me might be that I grew up in the same house for nearly 21 years (I’m only 24) so living away from home and in a town as cool and eclectic as Savannah, GA is a nice change!
Descriptive Essay I have never thought that drawing would help me out in life until I tried it. The interest started when I was in second grade when I saw one of my best friends drawing.
