Despite this, scholarships still play the most important role in financing my education because they offer me the immediate financial support needed to approach

The college honors programs distinctively appeal to ambitious, hard-working students rather than restrictively to the privileged and/or entitled students. Essentially, the honors programs draw the attention of those who want to go beyond the set standards and challenge themselves. It is for the students who are ready to make sacrifices and fail, but, most importantly, ready to continue until they succeed. It’s not specifically for those with talents or privileges but for the ones with great perseverance and determination.
Student loans can be an okay thing, for some students that don 't have money and don 't want to wait to go to school they can get a loan. Some loans can be difficult to get paid back but it’s not something that is impossible. If you can get a scholarship and then what you have left to pay you can always get a student loan. Then get a job to work and pay off that loan. It may seem like a lot of work but the outcome is going to be worth all the hard work.
After speaking with Rachel Gionta it seemed right to show that I have more to offer Temple University than just the criteria that I meet, and ask for a reconsideration for a university scholarship. Not only do I meet the criteria with my cumulative GPA of 4.1107, SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 1210, and my ACT composite score of 26, but the involvement inside of my school is the defining aspect that can separate me from the other peers who only meet the criteria shown in their scores. Temple seems like the only university I can truly identify with. Its urban persona mixed with multiple opportunities to better myself through clubs and volunteer work is perfect for my outgoing and generous personality.

It is never wise to take out a loan, even if it is considered by society to be a “good loan”. These “good loans” are student loans and they are anything but good.
