A big part of the film’s marketing campaign was its movie poster. Movie posters have been a big part of advertising for films since their beginnings in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The main focus of movie posters are to draw the audience to watch the movie.

The reason is the Hollywood studio system is the best method ever developed for making quality film and no other system has been able to produce as many quality films in such a short time. One of the key reasons that films from the studio era are great is their staying power. Films like Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Singin’ in the Rain, All Quiet on the Western Front, Gone With the Wind and many other were produced within the studio system and are still identified with today. John Belton states one of the top reasons the studio era films have such staying power “The industry that makes motion pictures also manufactures movie stars”(89). What Belton is referring to is the fact that it was no accident that many of the stars of the past could sing, dance and act.
Over the years, two science fiction movies have seemed to shine above all the others. Those movies are Star Wars and Star Trek, but which one 's better? Looking at the comparison, statistically in income, ratings, and ownership of both movies, they both have pluses and minuses to them. Although this is a very opinion based topic, looking at the different stats or popular one franchise will rank above the other. Although Divergent has more realistic qualities, The hunger Games was more successful and well known.
