1. You 're going to have higher expectations As the favorite kid, you are expected to have good grades, not get in behavioral trouble, and have common sense. For good grades, it isn 't complicated, believe it or not. All you really have to do is sit and listen. To not get in behavioral trouble, you just have to be friends with the right people who aren 't troublemakers and that know how to act at school. Common sense is hard to have at times, especially when you 're young. It 's a good skill to have later in life so as to not get in trouble with authorities, such as bosses at work. 2. Sometimes you get the hard chores... The only thing I hate about being the favorite child is mowing the lawn. It might take 45 minutes to an hour and 45 minutes, depending on if you have a large yard and have to do both yards or not. And no matter when you mow, it 's too hot. …show more content…
When your parents are asleep and you aren 't, it 's your responsibility to turn off lights, lock doors and make coffee for the morning. If you are home with siblings, you are in charge of keeping them safe and secure. If you 're home alone, it 's your job to keep animals fed, watered and let out to go to the bathroom. I wouldn 't sweat bullets if you forget to get water for the animals, they will be fine. That being said, you can 't completely ignore them all day. This is the easiest job of being the favorite. 5. You don 't always realize you 're the favorite. The reason why is because of the difficult chores. The amount of time to realize might be a while. Your parents give a kind of test, to see if you can handle the chores and responsibilities of being in charge, or acting like an adult. I wouldn 't worry about trying to figure it out, it will just happen. The reason why you shouldn 't worry is because of the fact that you start to worry, so your life becomes constant chores and responsibilities because you 're trying to prove yourself too much.

Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.
“This we’ll defend”: This is the motto of the United States Army, as well as the 3rd Infantry Regiment, also known as the “Old Guard.” These are the sentinels who guard the tombs of three unknown soldiers: One never identified from the First World War; another that never found his family from World War Two; and another shot down and never recognized in Korea. Laying a wreath on the tomb of these three unknown soldiers is considered synonymous as laying a wreath on every unknown and unidentified soldier and one of the highest honors for a United States citizen.
My Personal Michigan Hero I can feel my brain being over run by lesions. This is one of the ways my dad, Tim Huyge, jokes about his dieses M.S. He was born in the 1970’s in a hard-working middle class family. After high school, he went to Grand Valley University, and worked as the manager of T.J.Max. Until he had to retire because of his M.S.
Everyone must have been through a significant change in one point of their life. The significant change that I been through was in my early age. During those few years attending to Atlantic Middle School, I survived from cultural differences and language barriers. When I was fourteen years old I traveled by myself from my home in Fuzhou (a city in southern China) to Boston, Massachusetts to reunite with my family, who had been living in the United States for the past eight years.
Chicago is known throughout the United States as having one of the worst public school systems in the country. Although I attend a private school, each day that I sit in my English class, I have a clear view through the windows of the public school across the street, where other students my age who are equally as talented and intelligent as I am are in overcrowded classrooms without the resources and opportunities that I have. At Ignatius, I have had the chance to travel around the world and join exciting clubs. I have also been able to work with teachers who have the time to meet with me individually and be in an environment where everyone is genuinely excited to learn. Ignatius is surrounded by public housing buildings and run down schools and when I look through the window at the other school, it reminds me that others are not as lucky as I am.
And, this is my life. I am one out of seven kids in my house. With my Mom, Dad, Carl(annoying, crazy, and sometimes funny), Odell(generous, loving, crazy in a good way, plays football for WMI, and also does a funny impression on how girls act), Drew(I don’t see him much but when I do see him he’s nice, and he has a warming smile), Jasmine(so sweet/too sweet, very wise, selfless, and beautiful), and Cierra(egotistical, funny, lazy, and good sense of fashion). I also have siblings that don’t live with me, their names are My-My(5 years.
Growing Up Different Two kids are screaming in the bathtub while three others running around fighting over some toy, bed time is in thirty minutes and everyone is nowhere near close. Ten there is me, 13 year old kid managing five siblings because my parents got a divorce. Wow. huh?
National Junior Honor Society Essay Being a member of National Junior Honor Society interests me in a number of ways. I believe I excel in all five criteria of NJHS: academics, leadership, service, citizenship, and character, and being a part of this national organization will help me improve much more in each of the categories. I am also interested knowing that having membership in NJHS will help my future career and bring a lasting impression to many people. Scholarship is important in people’s lives; it both helps their futures and encourages them to do more work academic related. I have succeeded in many tasks academically.
I would like to thank you for considering me for National Junior Honor Society. It is a tremendous honor to be recognized for not only my academics, but also my leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Admittance into this club is something I would take great pride in and I will surely represent myself with the utmost class, dignity and respect that the club represents.
How did middle school change me? Middle school changes people, people lose friends in middle school, and people learn that a good life isn’t just handed to them. I learned this lesson to. And not only by my teachers, for example ,my soccer coach. He taught me that if I don’t work hard for a place on the team, and if i didn’t I might not even play at all.

My Practice Currently, a substitute teacher I teach five to thirteen year old students with and without special educational needs. I take on many different roles while substitute teaching and enjoy discovering, investigating and reflecting upon these vastly different classrooms and schools. This essay will explore a mixture of learning theories used in diverse contexts which are perceived as precursors or complimentary to one another. I have come to observe that my practice reflects a multitude of learning theory relationships, particularly; behaviourism, humanism, cognitivism, choice theory and social-constructivism.
If you do your chores and do them the right way for a week you could be rewarded. Even though the rewards may start out small, for example getting to go shopping, your parents will see how you are becoming more responsible and will let you have more privileges and bigger rewards. As you grow older you will see why chores should be done without being paid and that if you were to be paid that once you moved out of the house there will be no one to pay you for when you get your own house or
Common sense in the public tends to think psychology is just common sense; little appreciation for how wrong common sense often is. Common sense, defined as "sound judgment derived from experience rather than study," is one of the most revered qualities in America. It evokes images of early and simpler times in which industrious men and women built our country into what it is today. People with common sense are seen as reasonable, down to earth, reliable, and practical. But here's the catch.
