Abstract
To cope with the progressively more globalized world, having global literacy skills namely proficiency in technology and English is a must. Like many other countries in the world, Bangladesh is also struggling to ensure the adequate equipments of global literacy skills for her people (Aziz, 2009). New approaches namely Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) has been being in action here since 1996 (Mazumder, 2011) and to support the new syllabus new text book was designed focusing on all the four skills of English. Giving importance to English teaching at the Higher secondary level English For Today (EFT) for XI-XII was designed centrally by the government of Bangladesh and PFID of the UK government in 2001 and the objective of this

Both are concerned with the motto of an educational journey. Oliva (2009) comes up with four terms-‘curriculum goal’, ‘curriculum objective’, ‘instructional goal’ and ‘instructional objective’ focusing on the motto of journey of any educational program. She explains the terms as:
An instructional goal is a statement of performance expected of each student in a class, phrased in general terms without criteria of achievement…An instructional goal is a statement of to be demonstrated by each student in the class, derived from an instructional goal and phrased in measurable and observable terms. Oliva (2009: 310)
A curriculum goal is a purpose or end stated in general terms without criteria of achievement. Curriculum planners wish students to accomplish the goal as a result of exposure to segments or all of a program of a particular school or school system…(Oliva, 2009: 214)
A curriculum objective is a purpose or end stated in specific, measurable terms. Curriculum planners with students to accomplish it as a result of exposure to segments or all of a program of the particular school or school system…(Oliva, 2009:
I think the main goal for both of these concepts is to encourage students to be interested in gaining knowledge in subject matter, and providing both an engaging environment for the student to learn in, as well as helping them to enjoy what they are learning as
After reading this week’s chapters from our textbook, one interesting topic that was discussed in chapter five was classifying instructional objectives. When a teacher wants to design objectives, it is important that they use three domains and they are the cognitive domain, affective domain, and psychomotor domain. The cognitive domain involves mental operations from the lowest level of the simple recall of information to complex, high-level evaluative process (Carjuzaa & Kellough, 2017, pg. 136). The affective domain involves feelings, attitudes, and values and ranges from the lower levels of acquisition to the highest level of internalization and action (Carjuzaa & Kellough, 2017, pg. 136). Psychomotor domain ranges from the simple manipulation

Madeline response to Jill, I agree it is important to follow each section to have a clear idea of the objective we must meet to reach the target instructional goal. Because an objective is the foundation upon which to build the lesson and assessments that prove the overall course outcome. Stating a clear objective is important because they give you a solid foundation for designing relevant instructional materials. When you develop a learning object, a lesson or a learning activity, you have to define what you want the students to learn and how you will know that they learned. Instructional objectives, also called behavioral objectives or learning objectives are a requirement for high-quality development of instruction.
REYPE Annotated Bibliography How curriculum meets learning needs in multiple aspects Introduction In the education system, a curriculum is a crucial teaching instrument that provides the teachers with the foundation for instruction. As it targets the educational requirements of all children and makes sure that every student has access to equal educational opportunities, the adoption of the curriculum in schools has been crucial.
The original definition of goal orientation was a situated orientation for action in achievement tasks (Ames, 1992; Dweck, 1986). In later on researchers discussed that goal orientation is not just focusing on what people are attempting to achieve, but it defines on why and how people are trying to achieve various objectives (Anderman & Maehr, 1994). Goal Orientation is one of the interesting part of motivation when it comes to learning. There are various investigation on the goal orientation. Several research investigate it as a “state” (e.g., through experimental manipulations or questionnaires that focused on engagement in a specific task) or as a “trait” (e.g., through questionnaires and interviews that focused on cross-situational engagement
Also I need help identifying objectives in and the difference between understanding and knowledge when I have to identify them at the time of planning. I think it will reflect in the way I teach. I will be better prepare to target my lesson objectives. I will help my students to develop the skills they need according to my objectives. For example, before I took the class that changed
The goals created for the organization have to be aligned with the strategic goals and overall mission of the entire organization.
The relationship between The Goal and the course material that we’re studied from our textbook, I believe that is related to teamwork and communications. At the beginning of the book, Alex Rogo saw the need for change and step-up together with his executive team members to hire Jonah as a turnaround specialist. As we talked in the classroom about the organizational change and change leaders, The Goal is very much related to the course material in the textbook.
My goal for my students will be for them to always try and push themselves to do the best they can do. I want to build my students’ self-efficacy so they feel confident in themselves that they can perform a specific task well. By the end of the year I want my students to have grown academically, socially, and emotionally and feel well prepared to move on to the next grade level.
1.0 INTRODUCTION An essential element to sport is competition. When competition or social comparison comes into play, competition becomes a motivational tool. Since competition is a part of sports, performance can be affected along with the goals that have been set by the competitor. Competition between individuals with goal setting can result in higher levels of performance.
Distributed Leadership: Leadership is a very broad concept, distributed leadership is a new form of leadership that is gaining popularity (Harris, 2004). There is a great interest in the perception of distributing leadership although interpretations of the term vary (Harris & Spillane, 2008). According to Spillane (2006) Distributed leadership is the “collaborations between leaders, teachers and their situation” (Spillane, 2006, p. 26) and distributed leadership perspective recognizes that there are multiple leaders (Spillane et al., 2004) and that responsibilities of leadership are widely shared within and between organizations (Harris, 2007). In distributed leadership, leader give importance to interactions, rather than the actions, between
Assignment 1: Curriculum Inception Angela Bass Dr. Melanie Gallman EDU 555 Strayer University January 20, 2018 Introduction Curriculum development describes how a training or teaching organization plans and guides learning. It involves planning, implementation, and monitoring of a systematic process that creates a positive learning environment. It is, therefore, important to design a pilot curriculum that ensures proper evaluation of the content, teaching materials as well as teaching methods involved in the changed curriculum (McKinn, 2008). The pilot curriculum also serves as an assessment tool for acceptance of the curriculum by the faculty and students.
Both my mission and vision are interspersed throughout by my core values. It is my intention to preserve them even while strategies or goals may change. To remain focus on my academic and professional goals, my mission, vision will keep me motivated. They are an essential part of building a strategic foundation and developing strategies. These strategies will help me complete my doctoral degree and ultimately my dream of becoming a curriculum
