Pharmacy revolves around people and medicines. Pharmacy is an essential part of the healthcare system. It is a health profession that deals with the safety and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. Pharmacy profession has expanded and has been recognized as an important profession. We can see that there is increasing demand for pharmacists in public health. There are many types of pharmacy practice areas including community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, physical pharmacy and many more. Community pharmacies are an accessible health care point that provides very valuable services to their patients. Community pharmacists improve the public’s health in many ways. They optimize the effective and safe use of medicines in acute illness and long term conditions. Furthermore, they support healthy lifestyles and independent living. However, to ensure that community pharmacies give good services, training must be conducted to increase pharmacists’ confidence level which will give a good impact on customer’s attitude on health. People always visit community pharmacy to purchase medicines, health care product or even to get pieces of advice from the pharmacists. Since pharmacists can also carry out health checks, people sometimes will refer to pharmacists before getting an advice from their doctors.
