Founded by the Canadian hockey player Tim Horton, he opened his first Tim Hortons branch in Hamilton Ontario in the year 1964. When Tim Horton died because of a car accident, his business partner Ron Joyce continued his legacy to make Tim Hortons be one of the brands that Canadians will love (Tim Hortons, 2018).
