All in all, Edgar Allan Poe wrote an amazing poem showing the different feelings toward his love that had passed on. Tiger Army took that piece and change the mood and perspective of the poem and turned it into a song. They both talk about the same thing, just with a different mood/tone. Both authors writing great pieces should their love for Annabel Lee.

Poe married Virginia Clemm Poe when she was just 13 years old and he was 27, she was his cousin and he loved her so much that even our generation and generations to come will know because he immortalized it in his work. The death of Virginia really set the path for his life, she seems to be his inspiration for many of his most famous or best-known pieces of work. Even after his other loves and wives, I feel it all still comes back to her and the impact she had on the notable Poe. Virginia Clemm Poe died January 30, 1847.

In Poe’s and Bradbury’s stories there is foreshadowing, foreshadowing is a warning or a hint that something is going to happen. In the Tell Tale Heart, Poe made the killing of the old man recognizable early in the story. Ray Bradbury made the house “dying” clear because the house had no purpose anymore, so eventually it died in a fire.

Florence Kelley was outspoken about racial equality and an activist for child's rights. She helped to create the NAACP, and was the vice president of NAWSA. Jane Addams supported and spoke out for equal treatment for all people, therefore her social and moral beliefs were compatible with Florence Kelley’s. Anywhere from The Tell-Tale Heart, truly a story of both unique syntax and perspective, to The Raven, a poem full of symbols and eerie repetition. Through these and many more, Poe has been using his writing style to immerse people into his stories and poems alike since 1839. However, Poe is only able to accomplish this through his unique writer’s style, particularly his forceful imagery and meaningful syntax.

Throughout his life, Poe had always lived through the most chaotic and evil of time. His parents died while he was 3 years old. After his parents died, he lived with another family member who never accepted him as their own son. Later on in life, Poe had served in the military and at that point he started writing poems.
