Beowulf took on so many things and defeated it all. As Beowulf went into battle, he believed in a fair fight. With Beowulf’s skills and talent, he can overcome all trials that came his way. As he fought Grendel, he fought by hands. This battle with Grendel took great courage and skillful fighting.

Epics, most importantly, ancient epics are all based around heroes and their journeys. The most well-known and one of the most important ones is, Hercules. Heroes usually have super-powers that help them to to achieve their mission. Some things that heroes do is get help from other sources, or leave on a journey where they have to prove themselves to be worthy of honor and praise. Odysseus faces many drawbacks and complicating situations but he rises over them all to reach his final goal of returning home to his family and son in Ithaca. Odysseus is a hero because he had help from Athena, a fatal flaw in his character, and he also overcame complications throughout his journey and ended up proving himself to be valiant.
Who needs a hero? Throughout human existence, societies have always looked upon heroes and champions as a gleam of hope in times of desperation. “Like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies.” In the Odyssey by Homer the main character Odysseus displays many of the great qualities that define a hero and thus forevermore he has been remembered, honored, and reverend by multitudes as an epic hero. The time Frost spent in England was one of the most influential times of his life, but sadly it was short-lived. Shortly after World War I started, Frost was forced to return to America. Frost didn 't give up though, he found a new publisher, Henry Holt, who would remain with him for the rest of his life. For a while in the years of his early career, Frost introduced vivid scenery to writing. He modernized poetry from the nineteenth century into more up to date ways of writing.

During the Anglo-Saxon period an epic poem, Beowulf, was published; since then many have given him the title “an epic hero.” Throughout Ancient times, the ideal hero is thought to have exceptional quality and character. Beowulf was blessed with the gift of superhuman, meaning he possessed great superhuman strength. But Beowulf goes beyond the expectations of any normal hero: Spiderman, Superman, and Hulk. An epic hero is one who puts society before his own life and will battle till fate decides who wins. A hero’s purpose is to sacrifice his life while trying to aid others.
He possessed many attributes like his speed, defense, and hard hits. The one many Admire and I myself also admired was his amazing defense that guy moved in a way the made him look untouchable. To be 200 pounds and to be built and to move in that fashion was truly incredible. The men fought with a cool head just like Ali and his timing for his punches were on point and precise. Throughout the centuries people have spoken and written of wondrous people with amazing talents. Ordinary, magical, noble, all people whom reflected the values of the time and the difficulties of inner conflict. The study of heroes fro this semester focused on the heroes, Beowulf, Sir Gaiwan, and Macbeth. Anglos Saxons were a primitive society that believed in wyrd. Their rendition of a hero destined to be great were that of an epic hero named Beowulf.
The United States has had very many heros that served as our presient. Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington are all heros and were a very important part of our society. They all did everything they could do to make this world a better place, yet they all had their differences in going about doing it. But i will have to say that the strongest president was Thomas Jefferson. Thomas was one of the smartest men to live and not only was he very smart but he had a desire to constantly learn new things.
