Immediately, when I have begun to live here, I could see the big differences between that’s countries. And I could note, compare, and contrast. For example, Life style before in Cuba was full of short comings, specially, for the young people. There are not some opportunities for then, even if they were graduated from college, it’s hard to face life in that corrupted, and destroyed society, in contrast, now in Miami, young people have a great opportunity

In the twenty-first century, modern media tends to solely highlight Cuba as the former Communist State and Soviet ally that brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. However, Cuba was not always the Soviet Union’s golden child, nor was it always an enemy to the United States of America. In the early years of Cuban independence, Cuba was actually America’s golden child who was economically exploited by the United States government. In between these two periods however, there was a third in which an organization, rather than a country, ran Cuba from behind the scenes. The Mafia began to slowly take over Cuba starting in 1933, peaking in 1955 with the full legalization of gambling, and steadily controlling the Country until the reign of

When one looks at all the revolutions the earth there are many differences. Evry revolution is different but every revolution have one thing in common, one group of people is being oppressed by another. For this essay we are supposed to compare two different revolutions to the American Revolution. The two others I chose are the Cuban revolution and the Haitian revolution. To begin, I will look at a little back ground of each revolution and then the main cause.
Contrast between Chile and USA During my whole life I’ve been back and forth, living between Chile and USA. I’ve lived in both countries for almost the same amount of years each. I think if I hadn’t lived here when I was smaller, I would feel a big cultural shock. Geographically Chile is very extensive and in length, we have a great variety of climates and landforms. We can take the bus from the middle of a region and in 1hour be either at the mountains full of snow or at the sea.
Two Worlds, One Girl There are many different cultures around the world, but you never really know what is like being between two different cultures, until you are experiencing it yourself. While growing up, I had the privilege and misfortune of becoming familiar with two different cultures: my family’s culture, from their birth country, Guatemala, and the culture of the United States of America. I say misfortune not because it was a disaster, catastrophe, or bad luck; I say it because sometimes you get so used to being in one culture that you start to forget about your family’s origin. Sometimes you even like something in one culture better than the other, and you feel guilty for having a preference.
The President has limited power and is assisted by the Prime Minister. The Haitian people see the Prime Minister as the head of the government. The Haitian government has a lot of similarities to the U.S. Like the Executive and Legislative Branches. The Haitian government also includes 30 members of the senate which is the upper house and 99 members of the chamber of deputies which is the lower house.
One difference is the weather. United States have four seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter, while Venezuela has just two all the year which are fall and summer. On addition, in the United States the climate varies widely across the nation, summers are warm
For instance, Cuba has been established as a dictatorship while Puerto Rico has been established as a republic. Under these conditions each of the countries have developed in complete different ways. For example, in Cuba, the citizens have had to live under the constant rules of their leader Fidel Castro. Castro used his power to create the structure of Cuba in the same structure as that of the Soviet Union, which in return caused him to lock up or execute anyone who went against what he said. Due to those reasons, Cuba 's economy was gravely wounded and the entire country was forced to grow under strained conditions,
Mexico and Cuba underwent major revolutions led by rebels who opposed their current presidents. The revolutionaries in both countries were mainly concerned with the industrialization and modernization that was occurring within their countries. The uprisings resulted in the countries shared beliefs against foreign imperialism, against elites having so much control on their counties and push for land reforms. In the long run Mexico faired better after their revolution than Cuba. Cuba still experiences hostile tensions with the U.S. today and still practices rationing.
Cubans tend to be fatalistic, and believe that spiritual powers will maintain health, well-being and cure illness. Cubans are accustomed to preventive heath because it is a free service in their country, and they bring that practice to the U.S. They have higher rates of preventive health behaviors, such as annual physical examinations, and
