A book and a movie can be both the same and different. In The Outsiders there are many similarities and differences with the book and movie. They were the same because Johnny kills a man, they cut their, there was the movie scene, and Johnny and Ponyboy went to the church. Some of the differences is when Darry slaps Ponyboy but in the movie he pushes him, Johnny doesn't bring a lot of food in the book but does in the movie he does, when Johnny killed the man it was more described but it wasn't in the movie, and Johnny says he wants to kill himself in the movie. In The Outsiders one of the themes is “friendship” In the movie and book there were many similarities.
A major detail I found was during the movie Dally get shot by the police, but in the book he takes a gun, and kills himself. Nothing gold can ever stay means always stay true to who you are. The similarities between the book, and the movie were almost just your typical similarities. The Outsiders movie, and book I found to have more differences than similarities. I would prefer the book than the movie any given day.
In the movie Beowulf stabbed him with a knife, but he soon realized he had special skin; however, Beowulf dropped the knife and fought Grendel with his hands. In the book Beowulf didn’t use any weapon on Grendel at all. As the soldiers screamed in terror Beowulf noticed that Grendel’s ears were sensitive to sound. Beowulf swung on Grendel’s back and started to

Both movies were produced by J.J. Abrams. Abrams has also produced movies like the newest Star Wars trilogy and the new Star Trek trilogy.
Another different is Mr. D does not appear in the film but is in charge of camp half-blood as a punishment. Also, perc does not be the flying shoes Luke gave him in the book and Grover wears them but in the film, Percy uses them to get a pearl and he uses them. In the book after Percy decapitates Medusa head he mails it to Olympus but in the film, they keep the head and use it on the Hydra

A similarity is that she kills the man in both the movie and the book. Here are some difference you might not have noticed in the movie or the book.
Another thing that was very different was how the hero and his lover met. In history, they met when John Smith came to the chief of Powhatan (Pocahontas father) to trade marbles with food which was shown exactly in “The New World”. But in “Pocahontas” they met at the waterfall which is not historically accurate. So all the points together prove that the movie “The New World” is more

In the recording, princess Leia says, “I am sorry I could not present my message in person, but my ship fell under attack and my mission has failed. There is vital information in this R2 unit that can save the rebels, but only my father can retreave it.” Upon handing him the light saber, Kenobi says, “Luke, you must learn the ways of the Force, you must travel with me to Alderaan.” At first,
The reason we don’t hear about half elves is because they got to choose to either become an elf or a human. They don’t stay as Half-Elves they pick which race they want to be. The first human and elf marriage was between Beren and Luthien. Beren was a human, while Luthien was an elf. Tolkien describes the events of their marriage in his letters when he says, “It is Beren the outlawed mortal who succeeds (with the help of Luthien) where all the armies and warriors have failed: he penetrates the stronghold of the Enemy and wrests one of the Silmarilli from the Iron Crown.
I believe that the movie “A Cry In The Wild” does a better job of telling the story.I believe this because the movie is different. The movie is funnier and Brain does crazy things.Like eating worms and stuff. In the book Brain doesn’t eat worms. Also Brain mother in the book got caught at the Mall kissing. In the movie he caught his mom kissing under a tree.In the movie he flew the plane straight into the water and in the book he had made a decision to fly in the water or keep flying. Also in the movie he got attacked by a Bear but in the book he got attacked by a moose. That’s why I said the book and the movie is different. I say the movie is better than the book because it has more details

I am comparing and contrasting jurassic park and alice through the looking glass i have several similarities and differences and i shall give several examples. the theme/plot lie for jurassic park is that you should not mess with nature. I know this because in the movie the scientists “make” a new dinosaur which they should not do eventually the dinosaur gets out of its cage and every one is in a panic but at the end they kill the dinosaur and they abandon the park. Then they are all home safely. The theme/pot line in alice through the looking glass is you should never lie.
