The characters that S.E Hilton writes about are very well devolved for a short novel like this one, they are also memorable to the readers. Ponyboy Curtis is the main character and the narrator of the book, and he talks a lot about how he feels about various things throughout the novel. He isn 't like the stereotypical guy who bottles up their emotions to seem more like able by the ladies, and actually, a lot of women look for a guy like Ponyboy because he shares how he feels. Johnny Cade is a kid that gets beat up by his family but he is never really angry about it. He has a friendly but paranoid demeanor to his personality, and he is loved by his second 'family ', which is just Greasers.
The Hunger Games trilogy and Ender’s Game. Each individual books written by two different authors, yet there are still similarities buried within the theme of both books, as well as their differences. In both novels, sacrifice is a prominent theme, which plays an important role in becoming a leader. Collins and Card both craft their individual story in a way in which the characters from each book, Katniss Everdeen and Ender Wiggin, took risks for their family, and lost someone close to them. Both characters were influenced to change their values; to kill others in order to protect themselves and survive.

Characters understand the appeal of power at a young age. Even as a child, Amir manipulates Hassan’s loyalty in order to make himself feel superior. Amir has always felt inferior to Hassan, mainly due to his yearning for Baba’s love. Because of this, he enjoys using his opportunistic advantages to make Hassan think less of himself. As children, Amir and Hassan enjoy reading under their favorite tree, but Amir’s favorite part is when they come “across a big word that [Hassan does not] know” and he has the opportunity to “expose his ignorance” (Hosseini 28).
Throughout the book Peter shows to his and Ender’s sister, Valentine that he just wants peace and to be recognized so he asks Valentine for help. Ender can be vicious but only when he needs to be but Ender is more calm and is sweet to his sister because Peter always tried beating him up. But Ender is strong smart and is a great commander for killing the buggers. He would never hurt anybody if he had the choice but in the book there were a few times that in a way, he needed to.
Throughout the book Les Miserable, Jean does selfless acts that could potentially put his life in danger, however that did not stop him, he always seemed to do the right things. To start off, “The arm seized a loaf of bread and took it out… The thief had thrown away they bread… It was Jean Valjean” (23). Jean was not stealing the bread out of selfishness, it was to feed his sister and his sisters kids who were starved to death. Valjean and his sister were poor and could not provide the essential needs for his family. He was not stealing for himself but was stealing to help his family out.
Not all friendships are the same; “ A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.” Concerning the friendship in this story, one friendship was based on caring, because George cared for Lennie, another was companionship, Curley’s wife was a very flirtatious person, especially to the men around her and Lennie. Candy was wanting to gain stability. George knew that Lennie had problems from the first day they met each other. Although he had the mindset of a child, George still managed to be a good, caring friend. He was more like Lennie’s parent.

Even though Atticus Finch doesn 't discipline his kids, so they sometimes disrespect people, he makes his kids accept people no matter what, Atticus cares about his kids, but Atticus does not change who they are as a person. because, and he teaches his kids right from wrong. He was a great father because he guided on the morally correct behaviour which was difficult in their time. Atticus Finch makes his kids Scout and Jem accept people no matter what they do. Atticus set a good example when he was given the case of Tom Robinson.
