To compare and contrast two moments in my life is a difficult challenge for me. I have decided to choose my trips to Disney World and Universal. Yes, these are both located 8.5 miles from each other, but that makes them easier to compare and contrast.
Disneyworld, which is located in Florida, more precisely Kissimmee, Florida, but it’s a suburb of Orlando so most people just say it’s in Orlando. I’ve had five trips in my lifetime. I have only had two amazing trips to Universal. I don’t remember much about my trips to Disney, except little tiny pieces, excluding my last two trips. This was because I was so young. I do remember bits and pieces of the first trip to Universal. This is because I was only six years old. Most of what I remember is standing in line the opening day of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure. My second time I can remember very vividly because it was last year for Halloween Horror Nights.
Both are well-known amusement parks, but they have many differences. Universal’s Harry Potter exhibit has been ranked number one on the Trip Advisor ranking for things to do in Orlando. The entire park of Islands of Adventure was ranked number two and on the same list Disney’s Magic Kingdom was only ranked fourth. Disney’s entire resort was ranked fifth.

This is because Universal is mainly based on movies and cartoons. Universal hosts one of the scariest Halloween Horror Haunted Houses in the United States. (I got to experience it first-hand.) Universal does this for a selected month. Disney hosts their own, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. This is where all the little kids dress up. While Universal’s are only at night, Disney hosts theirs from September 15 to November 1 and the times for it are from open to
You also go out to haunted attractions like corn mazes and hayrides. Also Halloween is on October 31st and Dia

Magic Kingdom is the most small child friendly park at Disney World. Most of the rides are slow and most of them are not considered thrill rides. Although all the parks have, a lot of scenery Magic Kingdom definitely has the most. There is a giant replica of the castle from Cinderella that can be seem from most parts of the park. We only rode a few rides while we were there but most of the fun at Disney World is the experience not the rides.

" Disney theme parks were built for the whole family to enjoy and they do a fine job stressing that. If you pay close attention to their advertisements you will see that they are not always aimed for children, in fact they are aimed at the parents most of the time with little phrases such as "Let the Memories Begin" and "This is Where the Magic Happens." Even the animation films are made to please the parents, with their good morals and some jokes that are meant for the child not to understand. In addition, the Disney Store has its own Home Decor department which is intended to satisfy the parents' wants as well as their children's, while the child is browsing through the toys, the parent is browsing through the Home Decor section.
