In this paper will be comparing three different Cognitivist theories after reading the story Kermit and the Keyboard. There are three theories will be focusing on the cognitive information being process, Prospective of International Theories, and the Piagetian prospective. The main points of each prospective will be discussed and how it relates to the story. Also, will be using the Piagets theory, and Bruner, Vygotsky theories and discussing how would apply it to helping children in school in their reading and math. To began Harry's teachers need to find the main reason why he is struggling with his reading vocabulary. They need to find out the source leading to other issues. He has an language and speech impairment. They still of place Harry in speech classes, and find different methods for him to utilize and take assessments regarding reading and vocabulary. This will be based off Vygotsky theory, Harry would benefit from. The Piaget Theory will help Sasha with her math. First, would have to make sure she is capable of doing basic math would find this by her taken small math assessments. Sasha isn't capable of transitioning her schema of math problems to more complex math equations. So this makes her incapable of solving more difficult problems with converting certain math problems.
