Her own. What I am hear to talk about is the theme in Walk Two Moons. I think the theme in Walk Two Moons is “Don’t judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins.”(pgs. 47 and 53). Below are a few reasons why I believe this.
He was to the point where he thought it would just be easier to die than to live with all these struggles. Hamlet’s uncle Claudius killed his father which put a huge burden on his shoulders because he loved his father so much. What made it even worse was his mom, Gertrude, ended up marrying Claudius short after King Hamlet 's death. After the king was murdered, Hamlet saw his father’s “ghost” which told him that Claudius was in fact the one that killed him and that he wanted Hamlet to seek revenge for him by killing Claudius, but not to punish his mother for remarrying. He said it is not his place to do so and that heaven will judge her when it comes time.
and he gave her a liquid or poison that put her to sleep but everything would stop she would be cold so everyone would think she would be dead so she wouldn 't have to get married Romeo never got the letters that Frair sent to him and when he heard the news that she was dead he bought poison and when she woke to see him dead she killed her self with a knife next to him . if Frair was not in the story alot would change one way that the story
Emily from “A Rose for Emily,” is oppressed by her father who passed away. Faulkners writes, “We did not say she was crazy then. We believed she had to do that. We remembered all the young men her father had driven away, and we knew that with nothing left, she would have to cling to that which had robbed her, as people will” (Page 4). In the short story, Emily’s father is proven to have been oppressive to her after running off every young gentleman that came around looking to court Miss.
In this section of Purple Hibiscus Kambili can be characterized as strong because when serious thing like this happen Kambili usually acts as if she was brainwashed not to react. Another event that took place to prove that Kambili became strong was when Jaja took the blame for killing Eugene. On page 291 it states,” Jaja didn't wait for their questions; he had told them he had used rat poison, that he put it in Papa's tea. In this section kambili can be characterized as nonchalant because she knew who really killed her father and she would usually question herself but she let Jaja take the blame for their father's
An Irony is evident in the eighth chapter of The Great Gatsby, due to the unexpected situation, when Wilson kills Gatsby; this episode is Ironic because of multiple reasons; At first readers should have expected instead for Tom to kill him due to the fact that Gatsby was having an affair with Daisy. On the other hand Wilson thinks when he kills Gatsby that he is avenging his wife 's deaths but that 's simply a misunderstanding and finally the murderer is the only character who seems to care about conventional morality and rules of socially acceptable behavior. In chapter eight Gatsby states that: "He couldn 't possibly leave Daisy until he knew what she was going to do. He was clutching at some last hope and I couldn 't bear to shake him free" (155). Through this quote it is evident the deep affection and love.
The queen then tried to poison Theseus and was banished by her own husband. Already the story has the theme of a tragedy, but more is to come. Another way this story proves Scott Fitzgerald’s quote is when Theseus volunteers to go to the Labyrinth.
I think this isn’t because, the ghost of the king said, “Till the foul crimes done in my days of nature” is meaning he did some bad stuff when he was alive that he is not proud of (DOC.A). Also in the Treatment of Gertrude, hamlet accidently killed Polonius thinking it was the king spying on them in front of Gertrude, before Polonius dies he says “O, I am slain!”. Right after that Hamlet told his mother, Gertrude, that the new king killed his father, she didn’t believe and told him to be quiet that she couldn’t handle it. After that happened Hamlet sees the ghost of the king again, saying that “To speak to her, hamlet” (doc.
so he stabs the person behind the curtain and it turned out to be Polonius (Ophelia's dad). When she found out she was going mad. In document D "Get thee to a Nunnery" Hamlet asks where her father is and she says he is at home but he is really behind the mirror to spy on them. In the second excerpt Ophelia sings about 2 of Hamlet's actions which is he killed Polonius and rejected her.
In the short story, “Lamb to the Slaughter” Patrick, Mary’s husband, goes home and tells Mary that he no longer wants to be with her and their baby. She then proceeds to express her anguish by murdering him and sets up the murder scene so that she would not get caught. Later on, she calls the police and says that her husband was murdered and the detectives try to uncover the murderer and murder weapon. Roald Dahl uses objects and symbols to contextualize his ideas that people go through things innocently without knowing the danger, like a lamb to the slaughter.
At last, a tragic hero realized his bad and try to fix that into right way. In the book “the crucible” John Proctor said to lawyer and judgement that “Tell them I confessed myself: say Proctor broke his knees and wept like a woman:say what you will, but my name cannot-”(p62). It reflects that he is trying to be honest, and also trying to be a good father to his child and husband to Elizabeth. This is because, if he confess and avoid death, his child cannot inherited anything and Elizabeth lived with suffer because her husband is a witch. But, Proctor doesn’t confess that he is witch, and be honest to his child and wife.
This novel is based on finding love and janie finds that but is messed up at the end. She gets with tea cake and she ends up killing him Nanny would have liked it because he stayed with her but he hit her so she would 've told janie to stop seeing him or leave from him. Though she 's put on trial for murder, she 's pronounced innocent. After Tea Cake 's funeral, Janie returns home
So when he was being accused for an unspeakable crime with Mayella when she was the one who tried to subdue him in kissing her and he rejected her you can’t imagine how he felt. Keeping this in mind think about when Atticus says to scout “You can never really understand a person… until you climb up into his skin and walk around in it.” (pg.90) and you were in Tom’s position you would feel horrible to have helped this person who is now trying to lock you up or give you the death penalty. Why would Mayella do this to him when he helped her and kept her company? Take a walk in her sink and you would see she was horribly lonely and was neglected all the time at home and then you did a unspeakable act of kissing a black you would want no one to know so you would call him a liar and say he did something horrible to her to get him out of the picture.
This was the start of the rumors, and they only grew from there. Taylor threatened the princess that if the secret was not kept there would be serious repercussions, in terms of the number of limbs the princess walked away with. However, the princess ended up spilling the beans about trying to fake her death, so that she might marry her love, a poor servant who worked in the kitchens. Hearing this Taylor decided to help the princess
